Robert Mitchum was the king of 'cool.' Even my 20-yr-old daughter thinks so.
A modern example of an actor who embodies cool is Harrison Ford in the Indiana Jones films. He exudes confidence and his dont give a f*ck attitude towards women draws them in.

The best films to watch, aside from a select few from modern times, are films from the 60s maybe the 70s and before. Men in these films actually acted like men, not the feminised versions of maculinity we usually see these days.
Men then had a 'Im a man youre a woman, nothing else matters, thats good enough for me attitude'.
Wheras these days you would get the guy being all insecure and thinking more along the lines of 'Am i good enough for her, shes way too hot for me' it's pathetic.

So if you are looking for films to see how to interact with and act around women then older films are generally the best.

Like I said there are a few more modern films (Top Gun, Indiana Jones and theres a really good scene in Office Space) are a few examples, but they really are few and far between.

Yeah, older movies are better anyway.... everything nowadays is just put out to make a quick buck, nothing more. The only thing that is improved is comedy. We haven't had a decent horror film for like 15 years, these "romance" movies with the really really nice guy who somehow magically attracts the woman are just completely destroying the masculinity of all men who see them, everything relies on special effects, and the worst part of it all is that people are actually still paying money to see this shi-t.

Indiana Jones is a good character.

Just a little note though:
I don't think it would be possible for the average guy to just go around looking like a badass all day long and expect to attract women. Sometimes you gotta break a smile if you want women. I mean, if you try to act like Clint Eastwood all the time, it won't work. Women love smiles, probably because it shows confidence. The smile should help your cool guy image anyway. As much as we wish reality was just like in the movies, it isn't, so being "cool" won't take you the whole way. I think it is best we balance our coolness with our other attractive qualities.

Enter the Dragon

Bruce Lees seminal masterpiece. He has the "it" factor that propelled him into icon status that only a few have. Marley, 2 Pac, Elvis, Lee..the legacy they built still resonates today and oddly enough they all died young.

How to be a Player

Not a lot of DJ material but a ton of stylstic tips. Look at how he has his crib set up. PIMPED.

Booty Call

Who would of thought Mr. Foxx woud win an Oscar. Watch Tommy Davidson he is total AFC in that movie.

Movies like Hitch, The Girl Next Door, and 40 Year Old Virgin are very hilarious. They won't really give you any tips, but I always seem to be put in a good mood / be very inspired by these types of films.

Oh man, when you mentioned Girl Next Door, which does a better job of telling WOMEN how to PLAY MEN, I thought of that one movie called "Girl", starring Dominique Swain, and ooooh myyyy is that girl hot. She was also the girl in "Lolita." She has that young, innocent schoolgirl look I guess, girl-next-door look you could call it. Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, whoever you thought was hot, has NOTHING on this girl, trust me. Anyway, in the movie, she becomes a groupie for this grunge band because she likes the lead singer. He does absolutely nothing during the first half of the movie but ignore her, and continue to be seen with other women. He is the man she cant have, and she sees straight through his poorness, his unclean appearance, and his promiscuous sex habits, because she is so attracted to him. Nothing matters but attraction. Also, during the movie we can hear her think out loud a lot which is interesting. Well, things change really quickly when this man who once completely disregarded her is now attempting to spend more time with her and trying to start dating her. In her eyes, his value drops through the floor the minute he asks her to stay with him and she knows he really likes her. He really never had any game at all, he was just good at ignoring people and being mysterious since he kept to himself. When he tried to get this girl, it is clear he is just an AFC, and needless to say, she loses all attraction for him and goes home. This movie does really well teaching about what goes on inside women and what triggers attraction, and also how one should act and how one should not act, if we want to keep women attracted to us. Yes of course it was a little extreme, a lot of hollywood in it, but the message stays the same. There's my review of that. If nothing else, see it for the hot girl in it, she is HOT.

Boiler Room

http://www.generationterrorists.com/quotes/boiler_room.shtml

"For now you only have to remember one thing. You can be whoever you want on the phone. So say what you have to. Use a different name if you want. Tell them you're a vice- president here. Just get them on the line. That's the first step. It's the hardest part sometimes, but just get the b!tch on the line."

"I want to talk to you about appearance. Most of you dress like ****. I don't know what your financial situation is like right now but you need to buy at least one decent suit. There is a minimum level of aesthetic professionalism that we have here. In a couple of months you'll be able to outfit your whole closet, but for now just get something to hold you over. There's an important phrase that we use here and I think it's time you all learned it. "Act as if". Do you understand what that means? Act as if you are the ****ing president of this firm. Act as if you have a nine inch ****. Act as if. To do this properly you need to at least look the part. So go get dressed. "

"You have to learn how to close. Always be closing! You have to push. Keep asking questions. Ask rhetorical ones just to get a yes out of them. If you were drowning and I threw you a life jacket would you grab it? Yes? Good."

also, another movie with the pre-afc for J-lo Ben Affleck, "Dazed and Confused"

Dawson: You know that Julie chick? Loves you. You want her? Gotta play it cool, you know. You can't let her know how much you like her cause if she knows, she'll dump you like that. Believe me. Like, if she asks you if you want a ride, you say, "No, I've got my own ride, but maybe I'll see you later." Sounds stupid, doesn't it? It works.

Cruel Intentions is based on the book "Les Liaisons Dangereuses" by Choderlos De Laclos and more directly on the movie "Dangerous Liasons" starring John Malcovich, from whom Ryan Phillippe liberaly borrows to "create" his character. If you haven't, check out "Dangerous Liasons".

Teen Comedy

There's a teen comedy called "Whatever It Takes" and I think it's one of the funnier teen comedies, and it hardly ever gets mentioned. It's a standard story, the basic premise is that a guy (AFC) is in love with the hottest girl on campus, and gets help from a PUA at his school.

The main thing that I remember is that the PUA telling the AFC that hot girls don't like being complimented on their looks. The PUA gets a date set up between the AFC and the HB, and the AFC is being his loser self and consisting complimenting her, and she's losing interest. So he points out a flaw, and now she becomes intrigued. Eventually in the movie, he finds out that their personalities clash and he tries pushing the HB away, but the HB wants him even more.

The ending is pretty Hollywood sappy, but it's a fun movie. It's the movie that started me thinking about the Seduction scene.

Enjoy.

everyone mentioned movies I would have mentioned but I'm gonna add "The Believer" starring Ryan Gosling , not because I am an anti-semitic jew neonazi, but because his character is remarkably articulate in this movie in what he believes and it is always sexy to be able to speak clearly on issues.

Denzel Washington in Malcolm X the first half, while he is a hustler/ pimp is fun to watch. And the second half portrays a very articulate persuasive speaker which wouldn't hurt to have.

Robert De Niro's character in Taxi Driver can give girl's a "oh that guy is creepy....but I find him sexy" I enjoyed his pickup scene with the hot blond headed campaign girl.

Ray Liotta in Goodfellas was very alpha and in control. I loved the casacabona scene where he takes his girl through the back alleys to watch the show and eat.

as for standup comedy artists i didnt see mentioned watch old Eddie Murphy (e.g RAW , delirious) and try some robbin williams.

"Two Can Play that Game"

And

"The Last American Virgin"

In addition to every thing listed above.

And, James Bond of course.

Not the faggot Bonds, but the real one played by Sean Connery.

And let's not forget the "Flint" movies - In like Flint, Our man Flint" My inspiration.

And, the old Dean Martin "Matt Helm" movies too.

If you want to learn ****y and funny, watch some Matt Helm and Dean Martin movies like the one's listed above.

The ULTIMATE Dj movie is:

GOODFELLAS starring Robert Dinero, Ray Liotta and Joe Pesci.

Henry Hill (Ray Liotta) is the ultimate alpha male. There are also scenes where his wife says things that are fit the book to a T.

There is a scene where Hill wakes up to find his wife on top of him with a gun pointed to his face, but she can't do it. Afterwards, she admits:

"I couldn't do it. The truth was, I was still very attracted to him."
