Im so ****ing tired of these movies ridiculing pick-up artists, just finished watching wedding crashers, and I gotta say, It was pretty good, but then again, it also made me feel like I want to throw up.
I've seen em all, wedding crashers, hitch, the 40 year old virgin, rodger dodger, you name it, i've seen it.

will anyone just give me one decent movie, where the main character doesnt get oneitis, and pour his heart out. I mean, what the **** would be so wrong with having an ending, where the main gets fed up with the girl and her bull****,:trouble: and just walk away...that would be a cool ending, also give me a real build up, to where the watchers think he's gonna go oneitis, just to let it come to that ending instead, that would be mind blasting...:rockon:

yeah, totally agree with you, and its no doubt whats been inspiring them, I mean, 2 years ago these movies just started popping up like grass, coincidence, I don't think so...
I just wish they could do a decent job portraying a PUA, but man, maybe im asking for too much, maybe its the general world attitude that is the problem, I mean there's just so many factors too it, the church promoting being with only one woman, even when your not married or in a serious relationship:nono: , then there's the extreme feminists, bashing you whenever you even mention the something about being a player:trouble: , people believing in true love, refusing to acknowledge that there might be more than just one mr or mrs right....theres so many things...

Gladiator =) I'm serious. Excellent production of this movie... and Russell Crowe is a womanizing beast when he's not cutting limbs off of people.

Requiem For A Dream doesn't have a happy ending. In fact, the ending is rather disturbing.

I actually hated Gladiator. The movie was so overboard, not to mention the gross historical inaccuracies.

It doesn't annoy me when there is a happy ending in a movie, but it does annoy me when I see a man in a movie chasing a girl and getting emotional ' I want you, I cant live without you, your my heart and soul' and all that crap! Gimme a break will ya? Geez.

The sad part is that when a man acts like that supposedly the girl "realizes" that he is the man of her heart...and there comes the happy end.

Watch the movie 'In the Company of Men' its really mean spirited though because it centers around two misogynist men who want to get even with women and they end up playing a game on a girl who is deaf.... good movie but very cruel yet you almost related to the characters because they are out there.

By the way, both "Lord of War" and "Layer Cake" had very weird bittersweet endings.. and although characters both had women they liked, they did not let them interfere with work..
