Most women will go see that movie for Will Smith, and they'll be pretty much fixated on him the entire night.

Most comedies are ment to make people laugh. One only laughs at the stupidity of the AFC'S moves that are pulled. aequ|tas- after last night you should take serious insight into the Will Smith approach and try it out yourself or contine being the AFC that you are.

Lets not make this a personal confontation, im sure you dont want another warning, and i certainly dont. So, ill leave you with this:

watch what happens with carmen & company - Ill be watching.

going out doesnt always have to consist of macking chicks, i was with my friends and had a good time - All your friends calling you :gay: , is that what you call having a good time?

Ill be up for no further comment on the issue.

hahaha... them calling me gay was teasing me because i had an alice-band in my hair, which them being their immature self, thought was gay... but me, being mature, knew that it was a joke, and TOOK it as a joke, and we laughed about it, and had a good time, yes. Now i'm not going to mention anything AFC about u, because i am not here to tune you and try bring you down in front of the others in the forum, but i really think that its time for you to grow up and start looking at yourself before judging others... I had a good time last night with or without macking chicks, deal with it.

HEY GUYS

HERE'S A NOVEL IDEA

IT'S A COMEDY

BE ENTERTAINED

Stop trying to find the DJ dogma in EVERYTHING. What a shallow life, seriously. Learn to relax, have fun, and enjoy a comedy movie for what it is: A COMEDY MOVIE!!! You read far more into this than anyone else does.

Definately good movie. Made me laugh quite a bit.

There were parts when i was yelling "COME ON KID, YOU CAN DO THIS!" (no i wasnt in the movie theater at the time) and parts where i was just going "JESUS CHRIST COME ON!!!" ..but then again every time i see a guy burn in flames i start "helping him out by yelling at the screen" :p

I would not read into this guys... if you think a movie will stop your success with women...well.. too bad for ya ;)

I would definately have some issues with that girl printing stuff about myself.. First of all, why not tell me directly what you know so i can explain, instead of judging me and trashing me? Second, after all that you think "i didnt mean to hurt you" is going to be enough? puh-lease. Women say that line and at the same time HURT you.. it is ridiculous, just cause you said it dont mean if you do something bad it hurts less...

Anyway, interesting how they didnt explain where the hell WS is going to find a job now.. the other guy is rich cause of marriage, but WS?

I dont agree MetalFortress and aequitas.
Call me irrational. I dont follow trends, I create them.
So therefore I wont be following the trend that the 2 of you are trying to set.
Do you guys honestly think they made the movie just for the laugh? It was made for a laugh AND most importantly for the ROMANTIC(JUAN) side of it. Hence "LOVE DOCTOR" not "FUNNY MAN" - you want funny man? Go watch the BoonDock Saints.

MetalFortress- No1 said Don Juan is our or my :life: IF YOU read the Don Juan Bible and the sosuave website It states to be a JUAN you must have hobbies other than the GIRLS. I sense you an AFC, youve made many posts I see, your knowledge not at its peak?

hmm....

Don Joffe: u might be right.... but saying what u said, a Don Juan also doesnt "connect" everything else with Don Juan.. meaning that "Hitch" doesnt have ti have anything to do with Don Juan.... Maybe the fact that being a "love doctor" added some spice to it, yes, but it was NOT the intention of the movie to "teach" people how to be Juan or wateva.. it was to make people laugh. Go watch the rewiew of the movie.

Ever thought that the people that MAKE the REVIEWS are clueless about love and clueless as to what a Don Juan is? So 80% of the time the review you will see wil be based on the "funny" side of the movie because like MOST people in the world they HAVENT a clue even in the movie their are some AFC moves, where they discovered those JUAN moves only GOD only knows they must have called in the gigolo for some tips. Anyway, you want a review? Ill make a review. A review is an OPINION by ONE person.

I guess life is too short to be arguing about this sh!t... Now lets go do something more worth our while rather than waste our life arguing over a movie?

Channel your excited feelings into positive thoughts and behaviors. You will attract women by being enthusiastic, radiating energy, and becoming someone who is fun to be around.

To argue is to improve oneself. If we can understand something like a movie, we can sure as hell learn to understand woman.

Yo...I just saw this movie and I think it was one of the best seductionist movies I've seen in a long time (Watch "Before Sunrise"...it's a classic for things to talk about)

The first 10 minutes where you see him helping the other guys was good too. LIke when the guy says "these shoes aren't me" and he's like "You bought them with your own money, you put them on...they are you" He didn't say BE YOURSELF AND SHE'LL LOVE YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE. The way he says it shows that whatever you become is you.

Some of you guys sicken me with the **** you say:
"Oh you can't follow him, he was afc, he brought her drinks"

WTF is with that insecure gay sh!t. He was fvcking pimp in that scene. He didn't enter with buying her a drink, he LEFT buying her a drink, after a good conversation and playful banter. That whole interaction was James Bond-esque, countering everything you "thought" a player would do and just walking away when she expects you to chase and give her the upperhand.

Did anyone else draw parralells between Will Smith's job and these forums? I recall some of the stuff he said being similar to the reason people say they study seduction and NLP....not to trick them into bed or hope that they can swindle them, but so that they can have a chance at something that they normally don't take the time to look at.

It may be a rumour, but I heard some of the people read FS...Did any seductionist notice the persistent guy trying to get the pattern out on the girl as a last resort? lol. That was funny.

I was going to post about this last night too. I thought the movie was pretty good; it had its funny parts, but I don't think it lived up to the hype. The preview made it seem bigger and better than it ending up being. It was still funny and I still recommend it.

In terms of the DJ stuff, Will Smith plays the game in accordance to his rules until he falls in love with Eva Mendes. The movie reminds me a lot of "Two Can Play at that Game" with Vivica Fox and Morris Chestnut, where it is the girl that realizes that "there are no rules when it comes to love."

Another thing I want to point out. I'll be a little vague because I don't want to play the role of spoiler here, but in the movie Will Smith tries to help an AFC accountant guy land a blondie that works for the same company as him. Even when they were out on the date, the guy was oblivious to many of the things that Smith told him not do (still danced in a wacky way, etc.). Still, the girl ended up falling for him, and I think the message being conveyed here is that women will like you for you no matter what. Kinda unrealistic.
the thing is the hot women is an AFC during her teens...thats why she can relate to the guy's action and adore him....

My university just showed a free screening of Hitch. And my impression when I walked out was that it was a good movie. It looks like the movie is based out of a real "Date Doctor" called "The Dating Wizard" because both gives advice to guys who wants to attract women they like unlike most dating gura who are more interested in giving advice on how to be a player and get as much ass as possible.

Overall I think the movie is more like a satire. There are some good DJ skills that was in the movie but it seems the director intentionally blew it out of proportion to make it funnier. Overall Will Smith character is very smooth. He is charming, confident, intelligent, and does not take disrespect from Eva Mendez's character. Of course the director would put some AFC qualities in Will Smith's character for laughs.

However I think the best Don Juan are the ones that can balance out their AFC qualities and their DJ qualities. Like Pook said, "perfection is boring."

Furthermore, I ask some of my AFC friends about the movie and all of them response saying that they thought the movie was good but they do no think it is real, as in that it does not reflect real life. I agree to some extend. I think the overblown satire part is not real. But I think the overall big picture is at the very least partially true.
