I've been a culprit of this myself but reading alot of posts here it appears I'm not alone.

I've gotten to realise that unless the relationship/conversation whatever isn't going how YOU want, the best advice is to move on. It means you aren't needy and if she likes you then you will know because she will be forced to do equal/more work.

As everyone keeps saying, it's a numbers game. I think the problem with AFCs is that as soon as a girl gives them ANY green lights they're thinking girlfriend and relationship because they don't have the confidence or thick skin needed to play the numbers game.

Would most people agree?

I'm not sure...

The power to walk away lies in the understanding that essentially you need only yourself to be happy. But to have that understanding, it must be true! You cannot have this 'belief' if you are not convinced.

You can still love, fall in love etc, but only if it's founded and when anything changes in it's foundation, you can always walk away and be the same man for it, but with more experience yet...

It sounds as easy as simply "walking away"...but godamn, its hard. Easier said than done. Ive been practicing emotional control and have been reading "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" for a few months now and it has helped out...but like i said before, easier said than done.

Yes I agree depending on the person. I think its also important to understand what a green light actually is - its a subtle thing with a female right? Here is the kicker - so is the red light - this is where most AFCs fail to realize when the relationship is going no where. So for people starting out out I'd say this is good advice as it makes things simpler.

I believe its important. However I've come to the conclusion that believing in yourself, and realizing that you have value is when everything else will fall into place.
