Actually, it looks like it'll be closer to 78K, but those are World-Class performance numbers.

Here's a comparision to what numbers some "Supercars" are putting up:

Making power is easy - getting the tires/suspension to 'hook up' is another.

It's like the old joke:

What's the difference between a 400 HP and an 800 HP car?

About a 1/2 a second in the 1/4 mile.

well of course....no power is good if you have no grip...i just said modifications, that could entail everything from engine to type of gas.

Actually, the 06 Z06 will list for around 65K and should come in optioned out for around 68K

Amazing that the The General was able to put a car like this together for under 70K!

This vette is incredible. I heard it was the 2nd fastest street car w/ street tires around Nurburging. 1st fastest was the porsche carerra gt at $550k.....this vette is almost as fast as a street bike in the 1/4 mile..i think the dealers will be marking them up just like the Ford GT.

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

I saw the Nurburgring numbers posted on another forum.

I'll see if I can find them.

Good call, here's the numbers:

"His official time? A staggering 7 minutes 42 seconds. That’s two seconds faster than a Pagani Zonda S. Eight seconds faster than a Lamborghini Murciélago. Ten seconds faster than a McLaren Merc SLR. In fact only the $441,000 Porsche Carrera GT – at 7 minutes 32 seconds – is quicker."

Z06's have always been incredible cars, which isint suprising considering how close they are to the GT1 cars Corvette races in the Le Mans series.
