Ultimately these are all symptoms of a much larger and deeper issue, even if it's organically falling apart or somehow by design (which I seriously doubt).
Decaying marriages, slooty women, dudes with no aim, families breaking apart, decreasing ability to delay gratification, increasing time preference, increasing debt, less ability to take responsibility, more knee jerk sense of entitlement.
If Western Society were a person, we would just say it's getting old, and old things die, that's just the way it is.
After all, EVERY SINGLE SOCIETY since that agricultural revolution has died.
But since we're inside this humongous decaying structure (western society) and we are all focused on our own micro-problems and micro-imaginary awesomeness, we tend to not be able to see the big picture.
Sure it feels good to point your fingers at the "bad guy" but everybody's doing down on this disaster fvckship.
A few people might be lucky and skate their ways to an easy deathbed experience, reflecting on a well-lived life, but most of us fvckers are going to have to go down swinging.
