A very simple concept,MORE EXPERIANCE = MORE SUCCES. This is something that is true with everything in live, the more you've done one particualr thing the better you'll be at it. Being better at things we want is what we all wish for. Whether it be social skills, dancing, sports, or any other things that interest you. As you're more active in a certain activity you'll start to get better and start having more fun. And as you slowly start to get better you notice which helps you build confidence (which we all want) and you get more excited about it because you can see results. Then as time progresses your skills increase also, making it something you like/love to do. Although in the beginning it may seem rough, and you might think that its too hard, once you start to see the results of your blood, sweat and tears you'll appriciate the hard work that you put in.

Experiance and DJing

As I've previously stated, experiance in any area of your life leads you to have more success with whatever it may be. But now I want to address DJing as far as experiance is concerned. I see a lot of post about people saying they just cant approach, have convos, or other problems. But instead of going out and trying to get better at it, they just come to sosuave, read the bible, and still wonder why they have trouble being able to accomplish their "goal". There are very few people that can do certain things natuarally, and since you're most likely not one of them, its going to take some time and practice. DJing will give you knowledge, but what is knowledge without experiance? So when you're having a hard time with it just remember, soon it'll be over and it WILL be worth it

Success Is What You Want??

If so, which it most likely is, go out and achieve what you want to achieve. Unless something is phsyically stopping you then go out and SUCCEED!! Want to have better luck approaching girls?? Go and approach some and figure out what it is thats not working. If something is working switch it up and change youre approach so you'll have more fun. The better you get at approaching or whatever, the more fun it'll be, trust me I guarentee!!;)

My Thoughts On Experiance

I think experiance is quit an underrated thing with a lot of people. Some people just expect to be able to read a few things about what they wish they could do and when they go out they just expect them to magically work to perfection. Kinda like me trying to play in the NBA cause i read a book about how to shoot/dribble a ball. DJing is similar to basketball in the aspects of it requires more than one skill to be as succesful as you may want to be. And just sitting and reading will help to some extent, but then there will come a point where no reading or anyones advice will help. Itll all be on YOUR shoulders. So get out there and gain knowledge thru experiance.

Well said, well said...

Like they say, DJ'ing is 50 % attitude and 50 % experience... and you get neither from the DJ site. So if you've read the DJ Bible then go out there and approach those HB's instead of spending hours and hours in front of your computer! ;)

This forum is my new favorite thread, everyone is contributing good stuff now!

This was a great post, gonna get in the field soon because of the this. (despite your butchering of the word experience, lol)
