I've been a member of this forum for a very long time. And over the years I've read countless threads about some combination of looks/game/power/**** size/status/alphaness/race/location/height trump all in a never ending quest for the truth of what is the most important aspect of this thing we call being a DJ

Any man that has went out and actually played the field, who has a career an d a life and sits back and actually contemplates this issue for more than 5 minutes, this is a very easy answer

Money. That's right my friends, the road to ***** is paved green lol.

"Women are attracted to money, money makes women wet". IF this is your level of intellect, please use the breadcrumbs at the top of the forum and go back to the general DJ forum because this thread isn't for you. Simply put, this content is above your pay grade. lol no pun intended.

I think that in general we can all agree on the following; A good well rounded DJ, takes care of himself physically Regardless of your paygrade, regardless of your career, status, location, race, these this is universal.

My general point being, money affects every one of those things greater than anything else does.

I get a lot of slack on this forum for talking about my looks. I'm a good looking dude I don't know what to tell you lol sorry. However, I'm not a supermodel. Better put, I'm a pretty regular looking dude, with a good looking face, whose looks are magnified because I take care of myself. Right now I'm 5'8, 171 pounds, 31-32 waist size. I get a lot of female attention but ****, if I were 5'8 190 and a 36 waist, women would not look twice at me.

We say looks are important and they are, but how many genetically gifted guys do you know who can eat utter **** and still have rock hard abs. I know 2. my entire life. one was my best friend. used to piss me off. His diet was pizza hut and KfC and he can't be anywhere near 10%. He worked out but everyone i knew worked out, and he ate worst than everyone and had better gains, better lifts, better body than anyone i knew. it was genetics. he was wired to be that good ripped.

Brad (the guy above) can get away with eating hot pockets and pizzas and frosted flakes i.e proccessed foods and **** everyday and still have HB8's and 9's swooning over him.

But for everyone else including yours truly, it's eggs, egg whites, sweet poatoes, salmon, chicken breasts, lean meet, protein shakes and fresh veggies. And that **** costs money.

This is what i am eating tomorrow. this is one day.

Meal 1: Protein Pancakes (4 eggs, Oatmeal, equal, cinimaon, rasins, bisquick, makes 2 pancakes)

Meal 2: strawberry banana smoothie with egg protein power

Meal 3: 2 pieces of taliapia, brown rice

Meal 4: pack of tuna with pineapple chunks in it (it's the only way i will eat una)

Meal 5: Chicken tacos

You can't eat like that, EVERYDAY and not spend some coin.

that does not include the 3 cases of propel water I run through a week going to the gym (between 2 and 3 cases depending on if i work out 5-6 days a week, I don't like gatorade/powerade), or the 3 cases of regular drinking water I run through a week. Or the 2-3 cases of diet Lipton ice tea I run through a week. that's just what I eat. Or when I leave the gym and want a smoothie from the smoothie store. I also run through 2 cases of egg protien powder a month ($95 dollars), 2 bottles of flaxseed oil (11 dollars or so) and 2 caes of flintstone vitimans (15 dollars)

My grocery bill for me alone every week is about 200-225. A week. That doens't include the gym membership

The reason I am able to take care of myself and STAY where I am, is because well, I make more money than you do. It takes me eating like that 6 days a week to look like I look. It takes me spending that to be able to look like my old best friend Brad looks like naturally.

I mean, when I was in HS I was 135-140. I got girls. I got cute girls. HB6's and 7's. But to have 8's and 9's take you seriously you need to have your looks down pact, and you can't do that if you aren't eating right and you aren't in the gym.

Your diet, is the most important bill you have really. If I didn't spend what I spend on food and matience I would not have the looks that I have. I would not attract the women I am able to attract.

I remember when I was 19 and I started to get "Fat" when I started myf irst business. We didn't start to make any real money until a few months before I was 21 so 2 years later. I remember it being April and me thinking i had this long road ahead of me trying to get back in shape. I was about 190-195 pounds.

But because I had some real money now, by June I was about 175. I was getting looks from cutie pies by June. Because I could afford to do it right it the time flew by.

I go to a pretty regular gym. I like the extras of the gym and I'm not into the hardcore powerlifter ****. I like the pool and the basketball court and stuff. Anyway I think about the best 10 looking guys in the gym that aren't college or high school athletes and all but... maybe 2 of them are in their 40's. 40-45 year old guys whoa re freaking jacked and ripped and look GREAT. I'ts not because they aged well it's because they now make the money it takes to eat like they need to eat.

Another way it matters is with your hobbies. I mean, what hobbies can you really have as a 30 year old man that aren't boring if you don't have any money? I'm a horse racing guy. Say you want to get into horse racing. It's a steep learning curve. IT's going to cost you some money. Between bets, racing forms, brisnet figures and **** like that, you are going to be out of a few hundred every time you step foot on a track. Want to learn how to play the piano? Seriously? Piano lessons are usually like 200-300 a month. Dance Lessons= money. I have 3 salt water fish tanks =money. Martial Arts = Money.

It was easier to have hobbies 10 years ago. Now everyone has to have an iphone and a tablet. Now everyone has to have high speed internet. People don't have as much disposable income and thus people don't have as many hobbies because they can't afford them.

Half the posts on this forum about flaky ass women would disappear over night if guys would get their money game right and get some real ****ing hobbies and stop bar diving. Women of character have interesting and unique hobbies. They aren't at Smokeys sh!tface tavern dive bar on Thursday girls with 36c cups get in free night.

the most important aspect of this thing we call being a DJ

Money can be your answer, but fun would be mine. Money can certainly be fun, but I think it is more of a door-opener than an ultimate answer. It doesn't solve the personality issues that drive women away after the money attracts them.

I knew a lot of guys in law school who were broke students and bad with girls. When they passed the bar and got jobs, they all seemed to immediately get hot wives. But I really doubt that any of them exactly wear the pants in the relationship, and I think their wives are attracted to their paychecks more than them. Some of the wives are no doubt the nightmare ex-wives of the future.

My grocery bill for me alone every week is about 200-225.

Mine is about $20. Peanut butter goes a long way. And you probably don't want to know where that tilapia comes from.

Dear B squared,
I agree genetics is a big thing...I know an old Guy called George,a Bosnian Carpenter.....from time to time I employ him,fast,smart,accurate...This Old Bathbun lives on Cigarettes, sherry and Coffee...constantly breathing Building dust,he lives on four hours sleep a night...but always full of energy...Just last week I watched him hurdle a five foot wall from standing...He is 76 wouldn't eat a Taliapa Sangy if you paid him..three years ago,he turned up for some Money with a beautiful Tight Arsed little Chicky Babe about 45...She was visiting,he had her berthed,at a local Motel, boasted to me that he had come three times with her that afternoon...I believe him...So it is so often not just what you eat,but what the Man in the Sky,shovelled into your Guts at your creation!

Dear Switch,
I love Beef too...But we have to be careful, rates of Colon Cancer relate directly to amounts of Beef consumed...There is no Doubts here, generally a country that eats 10% more Beef has 10% more Colon Cancer...Your Food Administration people say it is the burning of the meat that creates the problem..But you can avoid much risk by marinating the meat and tossing the Marinade...Doesn't taste that good but I reckon its a cost worth paying!...Eating clean can be as simple as sprouting your own Alfalfa, going to your Green Grocer and asking for the Dark green outer Cabbage and Cauliflower leaves he throws out...Tell him it's for your Pet Quails or something...Chop and boil the leaves drink the water you will feel great for very little expenditure...You can eat the residue, makes a great dish fried with mashed potatoes called Bubble and Squeak!...I am sure Back Breakers Wife will back me up on this LOL

I stay away from beef usually but we do have a son and sometimes you just got to cook some good ole fashoned hamburgers and stuff like that. But like tonight i'm eating chicken tacos not regular beef tacos

Eating clean can be as simple as sprouting your own Alfalfa, going to your Green Grocer and asking for the Dark green outer Cabbage and Cauliflower leaves he throws out...T
there is a big difference in eating clean and eating to look good / be in shape. I eat to be in shape. EAting clean wise I probably eat way too much protein

I'm not trying to watch what I eat, I'm trying to eat enough to run a business, manage a son and a wife, and spend 2 hours in the gym 6 days a week. I need some ****ing meat lol. A salad and a few carrots isn't going to cut it.

That's the main reason I really don't drink Solomon. I never had a problem with alcohol. I just really chose not to. I don't like the empty calories.

I refuse to drink beer.

I used to have a less-than-optimal diet, and it began to show. Since then I have abandoned wheat in any shape or form, replaced it with hemp-, coconut-, almond- and buckwheat flour. I use coconut fat for cooking. Heck, you could even make wheat free hamburgers that are relatively healthy. Yes, it does cost money and it takes time.

On the other hand I eat a lot of brown rice and buckwheat. Perhaps not the tastiest foods out there, but definately healthy, and not too expensive (albeit unprocessed organic brown rice costs about 5 times as much as the white, processed sh!t). Kale is cheap, but I can't get myself to eat it too much. Lots of water and green tea. Salmon, and other fish, once in a while, and a lot of supplements, including Omega3. Heard that Alpha Lipoic Acid is beneficial too.

That said, I am no nutrition expert. I have, however seen improvements myself. If I had more money and time I would change to the Paleo diet. So it is true, money, or lack thereof holds people back. I plan to get that part fixed soon enough, though. :)

Obviously it is different in the US. If I didn't know better, I'd say they serve and make that cheap crap (fast- and processed foods) available on purpose. They don't want people eating healthy.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Bs post. I eat virtually the same diet as you and spend under 100 a week, easily. It's probably relative to cost of living in different areas. 2 protein shakes a day, 40-50g protein in chicken breast, sometimes a banana plus strawberry/blueberry smoothie, 2 cans tuna, 2 pcs baked tilapia plain, and some kind of nuts to bring up my fat macro to spec. Water to drink. Wtf are u shopping man to be spending that kinda coin on a very similar diet?

i loved this post. it is basically my road also. (i am not at that point yet, since i am 95kg at 175cm but getting there), so i will post my story also maybe some will learn from it, or find some flaws and can throw in some good tips :)

until i was 24 i basically did not workout, ate like a pig and hiked a LOT. i had 75kg at that time. i just couldn't get fat. was ok, except i looked like a starving poet.
at 24 i went programmer, had a sedentary life, the pay wasn't that good, didn't have time to go hiking, and in 1.5 years i got to 120kg O_O
i was like wtf.
i changed jobs, and in parallel i started my own business. in the beginning i didn't do anything about my looks, i could get girls even at 120 kg although i had to game more. but after a while i stopped caring about getting girls and my weight started to bother me.
i started to eat paleo diet based on fish, chicken and a small amount of pork ( i love that even if it is unhealthy), vegetables (a lot) and small amount of fruits.
i never did protein shakes, but i might try it if you guys can tell from experience that it works.
so with this diet i lost 25kg, and now i am at 95kg, trying to get rid of the last 10, but it seems i cannot. i just started to go swimming 2x per week and working out 3x per week in the gym with a personal trainer to see if that will work. i have little faith in this one though, i may very well be wrong on this one so i will keep doing it at least for 3 months to see if changes occur (i welcome any tips here also)

i can confirm. with better income, everything gets better (if spent wisely - i know lottery winners who spent money like crazy and ended up worse than before)

i don't really have problems picking up women, and spinning plates luckily mostly because i am a laid back guy, don't take things so seriously and i like to have fun and be playful. women dig that. the money and prestige helps also i guess. and dressing nice. means a lot.

i also am a fish lover, i do freshwater planted aquascaping tanks though. not that it is that different, i like both. so this made me appreciate your post better :D

You have been saying that for years.

Run 3 miles on the treadmill every day and the weight will drop off. I ran 2 miles today and am now drinking some beer.

I don't want to derail my OP but malice brings up a good point and another byproduct of the "bar hopping lifestyle" that i don't care for

If you look at a bunch of guys in their 30's, and women for that matter, you see a bunch of guys who may not be alcoholics, but are alcohol dependent. Over the last 10-15 years their brains have syncs alcohol= good time. whenever you went out to the club you drank, you had a good time. now when you don't club as much, you still want to have a good time so you drink.

I guess that's why I never really has a true desire for it. I drink, not often and it never was a problem for me but I never was huge on the bar scene.

A lot of gold in this thread.

I haven't posted on here much. I drop in and out. Quick backstory: I'm a fairly recent widower. No kids.

When my wife got sick, the doctor laid it out for us. I realized that I was going to be 45-50 and single again, and I had no idea where to start. It happened a lot sooner than I'd expected. I'm glad I didn't wait to start putting myself together.

I started taking better care of myself and straightening things up.

During her last years, I picked up a second degree online, rocked my GPA (my first degree was in a liberal arts field and I barely graduated), and then picked up a finance MBA. I took up running and dropped 20 lbs., and then put in for a commission in the Reserves once I started crushing PT tests - killer PT test scores helped me get an age waiver. After I got my MBA, I started my own consulting firm. I'd been doing some freelance consulting on the side but hadn't had the bona fides to put myself out there to anyone who didn't already know me.

I took a few months off as my wife headed for the finish line. That was awful. It was atrocious. It was the end of the Frye's Dog episode of Futurama, times infinity. It also matured the hell out of me. Weeks of sitting quietly beside a hospital bed, stuck in my own head, facing all the pain in the world alone. Good stuff.

She had a good chunk of life insurance that paid off the mortgage, which we'd already been double-paying on. This is the most important thing you can possibly do with your money. Period. Get rid of the mortgage. I now pay taxes and insurance on my house. $400 a month for a 4,000-sf house on 2 acres.

I never went back to my day job. I didn't have to; I had no mortgage. I now work part-time consulting, plus my Reserve obligation. My agent just sold my first book proposal.

I pay less than I pay on the house for yacht club dues and the slip where I keep my sailboat in the city. I sold both our cars and bought a sturdy 1994 F150 and a Porsche Cayman S.

I see a lot of hate on this board for the 50-year-old lawyer type with the gray hair and the young hot girl on his arm and the sportscar and the yacht. I am that guy. I will tell you, it is awesome. I have 3 FB's right now, all of them much younger than me, all petite, all fit, all awesome dates. I met one in the beer garden after a race; the second, a gorgeous little Navy lieutenant, at the coffee shop on base; and the third, who's 22 and away at college but coming back next week, at my yacht club. Her father is about my age.

If you're in your 40's or older and you are

- fat
- a poor dresser
- broke
- driving an entry-level car (Focus, Yaris, Hyundai)
- in an unskilled job
- still hanging out at dance clubs
- without grown-up hobbies
- drowning in debt

. . . you are pretty much boned. Jack Donaghy said it best: "50 and rich is the new 35." I'm no Monty Burns, but I'm no longer a wage slave.

Get your lives together.

Get an advanced degree. The world expects it of you, now.

Get a tailor, or better yet, go to Nordstrom or Brooks Brothers and throw down two grand and ask a salesman to help you pick out a new wardrobe. Don't have two grand? Two words: Van Heusen.

Get your finances together. Get a finance guy. You should talk to him enough that you have his number memorized. Mine throws parties for clients a couple of times a year. GREAT place to meet women.

Get in shape. I don't go to the gym -- I find vanity repulsive -- but I knock out 30-40 miles a week and can crush a 10K in 44 and change. That's just over six consecutive seven-minute miles for those of you who suck at math. When a woman sees you sprint for 45 minutes without stopping, she doesn't care what your biceps look like or whether or not you have perfect abs. She immediately envisions what you can accomplish in the sack.

I should also mention that being a military officer opens a revolving door of educated women in their late 20's with daddy issues. If you have the chance to do this, DO IT. Besides, the professional contacts and resume bling of being an officer are outstanding.

You have no business chasing tail at your age if the rest of your life is a disaster. The clock is ticking, gentlemen. I got myself squared away by 40, and I was just another pear-shaped shlub in a tie at 35, drifting along, happily married, working in a cubicle, mowing the lawn on weekends, quietly farting his way through one football game at a time every Sunday.

There is young, fine tail for older guys, and a lot of it. However, that's because the number of guys who are competitive for it is ridiculously small.

Younger girls want older guys who have:

- money/power
- fitness
- maturity and refinement (dress, hobbies/interests)
- time

I come to this board primarily because I don't understand texting. I mean, yes, I know how to do it, but it has increased the flakiness factor by an order of magnitude and it still vexes me. I primarily come here to read the FR's with guys and younger girls, which helps me feel that I'm not alone in not understanding the generation that I so enjoy having sex with.

But man. Some of you need so. Much. Help.

I see myself in you. You can do this without having to go through what I went through. Get it together. Just don't hate on the guys who already have. Most of us, if asked, would give you helpful advice.
