Social life is fun, but when it's over, it's over. You have ZERO to show for it, and it might even cost you.Sure, you might increase your social skills, but that's only with targeted practice, and consciously pushing your comfort zone, something most people don't do. OTOH, if you suck it and work, you'll have money and some experiences (working, dealing with professional issues, etc) that will be more likely to serve you in the long run.
Besides, working won't END your social life it will only significantly decrease it, which will force you to make the best of what little of it you have, and not waste time with idiots and floozies.
