However, I just don't think its a good idea for people to use this forum to amuse themselves with useless banter; which is what the chicks and Gio to an extent seem to be doing.
And I honestly don't understand what women get out of posting here. Can you explain that? I'm trying to think what I'd get in a forum for women to discuss the topic and I just don't see it.
I guess there are some advantages to having women here though: I did enjoy when you posted your picture showing all that cleavage and feel free to PM me if ever you're in Montreal and want to hook up.
Also, I feel bad that those guys insulted you and your children and would have responded to that if the thread had not been closed. I guess that made me feel all protective and chivalrous (I can't even spell it...) as I wanted to jump to your defence and stand up for your honor.
But the moment will pass I'm sure.

I can't speak for any other woman who posts here except for myself.
I'm not here to gain anything from this site. I'm here to give something. I do offer plenty of advice and input that is very useful. Unfortunately, those "dweebs" have to incessantly flamebait. The moderators aren't enforcing the rules regarding flamebaiting and it just grows and grows. I'm a confident, strong and vocal woman...I'll only tolerate that nonsense for so long and I'll bite back and be quite mean. But you never see me treat anyone like that who is courteous to me.
I am a very valuable person to have posting here. Not because I am a woman, but because I am able to think like both women AND men at the same time. I can see things from both perspectives. That allows me to offer advice and solutions to problems that will work. It helps me see how both the guy here and the girl he's having a problem with are feeling and what they both will have to do to fix problems. I am also extremely honest and blunt (which is also why I tend to piss a few people off). I won't pull any punches at all, and there are many things that most women lie about to protect a man's feelings or because she doesn't want to be seen as being "mean". I won't lie to protect anyone's feelings. I'll try to say what needs to be said in the least hurtful way...but I still say it.
So, the very things that make me a very valuable asset to this forum also makes me probably THE most controversial member here. I am a "chick" who tells the truths that a lot of guys can't seem to handle hearing. The more mature posters have an appreciation for that, even when they don't like what I've said. The more immature posters get all disgruntled and behave like I killed their dog. Eventually most guys figure out that I'm not going anywhere no matter how idiotic they behave. In fact, the worse they behave the more I end up posting. Once they figure that out they typically learn to accept the fact that I'm here and am not going anywhere and knock off the nonsense.
I hope that answers the question as to why at least one "chick" posts here. Oh...and I'm really not a "biotch"...I just play one online.
PS...I'm actually just south of you (Vermont), and I DO want to go to Montreal eventually. I don't do the "hook up" thing, though. But I'll tell you what...if I do make it up there I'll let you know and we can meet up and I'll be your "wing biotch" for an outing.
