Modern city girls

Anybody else than me noticing how girls are getting more and more unapproachable. They are wearing sunglasses, talking in their hands-free cell-phones, listening to Ipod music and all that shyt. They are pretty much moving around in their own, screened-off worlds. Where I live, this Ipod thing is getting out of hand, and like 3 in every 10 girls who are going around in the city are listening to that. Girl on the cell-phone = bad luck. Girls with Ipods = tougher approaching.

Anybody got any ideas about this stuff?

cell phones are bad.. but then again you probably wanna stay away from girls that talk and talk on their phones.
ipods can be good though. if you have your's on, she has her's, ask her what she's listening to. then say, hey listen to this song you might like it. or something. you can use almost anything to pickup a girl.

I was at the doctor today and waited in the surgery for the doc, from there i saw an HB7.5 (maybe 10meters away, waiting room) and looked/smiled to her and i think she did the same to me.

3 minutes later she stood up and asked the receptionist how long it would take until the doctor has time for her (answer was 30min+) , while doing this she walked around the floor, turned around and looked at me, smiled and said that she will go out to get some fresh air.

I was pretty sure that she was interested in me and the fact that she goes out would be great to approach her ( and maybe also an sign? ). But what happened?

After the doc finished me i went out, and of course i saw this chick, BUT she used this damn cellphone...i hoped the approach her while she was standing there do nothing or maybe smoke etc, so i was a little bit confused and not prepared for this situation...end of story, i just walked away

Any ideas what to do while approaching and shes using the mobile?

its not hard. just make eye contact a few times and smile and usually they will understand.

baggy clothing just makes them feel not as hott, therefor lowering their subliminal social value, thus raising your relatvie social value, so its a plus for you.

There not really unapproachable but its just going to take more skill. I have also seen this to, alot of people have either an Ipod or Cell phone. Like if there real bored they flip open there fun and just play around with it for a bit. This is why i don't like online dating either because now more and more people are really closing themselves out of reality, using things to stay in there own bubble. I'm glad in subways there aren't any service, funny thing is once they get out the tunnel 50% of the people pull out there phone and start talking about nonsense or unimportant things.

use the sunglasses as a c+f tool, i constantly make fun of chicks when they wear sunglasses, now its a bit harder cause its getting toward summer time but in the winter you can bust on them and get a convo going.

True, and this is why the world we live in today is not about meeting new people out in the open and acting like a human being any more, but more-so, people acting like robots with no social skills who go from A to B to C every day and thats it! They make themselves unapproachable by strictly doing that - putting on the head phones or jiving away on the cell ... What are u gonna do ? - rip her headset off and ask for her digits ? and how can she hear you if she has the music up full blast ? ...Be mindful about girls you approach too because "C&F" only goes so far before you pis someone off to the point that they turn u in to the cops or think your a pushy/creepy person.

Its amazing how few people nowadays just get out and socialize just to meet others. The only people to blame are ourselves and for allowing technology to overpower some of the most basic elements in life. Its amazing to see how so many other countries dont have this kind of cr@p going on where everyone just keeps to themselves, like the States. Why could it be that people sitting in a subway cant get off their @ass and go meet someone new and get out of their bubble? ... and, god forbid, meet someone worthy of a relationship or someone to bed down for the night?

Girls with cell phones? If you think for a moment what does this mean to YOU? yes you cannot talk,and she seems busy.You still have your hands/expressions etc.What a friend of mine once did was stay there with a grin and he said (without voice,just opening and closing his mouth) "shut the phone off" , she smiles and turned to one side,he then went in front of her and pulled out his cell,pretending to talk on the phone and imitating her (waving his hand around like a girl walking around like he was on high heels etc).After that she cracked up and closed the phone.He got the digits in the end
