Modelling and Tanning... need some dj advice

I was walking around campus today and some lady came up to me, introduced herself, and said they were looking for students to model for some gay something.

she said i was "absolutely gorgeous" and that the only thing that i should do is to probably get a tan. like... go to the tanning bed... like that sounds mega super ghey... like...

1) should i do this modelling thing? ive never done it. i dont really think im all that good looking. it doesnt pay... but i could probably find some fine womens

2) i would feel like such a fag going tanning, but i totally need a tan haha.

A good tan can improve your overall appearance and help you with women.

why not do it? it's actually not uncommon for guys in their 20s to get chances to do this stuff...because most guys are not out there *looking for a modeling career. this unpaid thing might lead to something paid, and getting paid for modeling (read: standing around doing nothing) is always good!

So wait, you were approached on campus by a woman who wants you to model for a homosexual magazine/advertisement/etc ("something")? While I think your zeal is commendable, I would wonder if you might consider it a mistake 20 years down the line when you're running for office somewhere and your opponent shows a magazine cover with "To see Enjin 7 in his boxer briefs and rainbow paint on his face, turn to page 42!". Anyway, your call.

About the tanning, there's no reason not too. The only thing I can think of would be insecurity... and since you're thinking about modeling for a homsexual "something" or other I guess you're pretty secure in your sexuality. At least, I hope you are - either that or you're on the wrong board.

If you'd have no problem doing that sort of thing go for it. I personally wouldn't model for something I do not stand for (homosexuality). But I don't understand when some guys think. "It seems gay". If you aren't gay what does it matter?

I tan, groom and dress well and think nothing of it. Sure, guys can be b1tchy and call me gay, but it's obvious they're insecure and trying to bring me down.

I was also scouted to do some modelling earlier in the year. I was very flattered and it gave my self-esteem a massive boost, but I left it at a one off as I'm too camera shy to pursue it any further.

If I was you though, I'd go for it and don't give a fvck what other people say! Guys who use the gay insult against guys who look good are like fat women who use the anorexic or bimbo insult towards slim and attractive women.

hey photographers are gay so get used to it, but when it comes to standing nude for some gay menz mag, ill pass that up no thankz.

you could join a local agency from there and earn some small cash on the side while in college or even when you doing your normal 9 to 5,
im in a small modell agency and when ever i ge job offers i could earn up to, 80 per hour for 5 hours in a day and i get jobs atleast twice or once a month(think of what a bigger agency could pay you if you can get bookings). so go for it and its good for your confidence, its like if you get rejected by a girl you dont care, your subconcious tell you im a model b i t c h. go to hell.:crackup:
