Mixed Messages drives me crazy...help!

Scenario:

I’ve got this married blond at work (both of us military, so we’re not going to be working together forever) that I’ve been diggin lately. She’s confided in me before of her husband was/ is cheating and that she did the same thing more than once when he was here and she was in Cali. To make a long story short I basicly told her I wanted to hook up and for the past 3-4 weeks we’ve been chit chating here and there at work but never anything meaningful. She never wants to go out here for fear of being seen..her husband is a recruiter so he’s out and about a lot. Anyways, we’ve talked some on the phone, text messages, emails….but she gives me mix messages man. Says she’s trying to be good…but still talks to me about hooking up and then next refuse to come chat or anything..this behavior is driving me crazy and I want to say f*u*k it…but..I don’t want to let go because I still feel I can crack this cookie. I know that she has some kind of attraction towards me and something is there but how do I get her to go out or take it to the next level? She said she doesn’t want to plan anything but if something happends then its cool but she doesn’t want to plan anything - wtf does that mean…..Oh yeah I’m married too…

I know some of you will reply with the goodie answer of don’t cheat….but we both know it’s the thrill of the hunt that is so satisfing when we finally make the kill…..

Well I hope this keeps driving you crazy because you're not just being stupid, you're being a jackarse. Many of us here have served, including myself on several deployments. You should be focusing on your apparently less-than-perfect marriage and serving your country instead of trying to nail another serviceman's wife. If she's a b!tch slvt attention wh0re, that's her and her husband's problem not yours.

On the DJ front, move on. What you're not seeing:

- You didn't establish your desire/intent immediately
- She's in a f'd up relationship and has you playing saviour
- She's making excuses to not do things together in public
- You told her you "want to hook up" (overtly communicated interest)
- You're listening to her words dude, watch her actions.
- You've got ONE-itis and you're married
- You've been implicitly LJBF'd.
- You know she's married.

Oh yeah, you might want to look into Military Regs (ie UCMJ Article 134, paragraph 62). When it involves two people on the same base, same command, it only takes one complaint from her hubby and well I think you get the idea...

Titman is right. The problem with this activity in my view is that many men do not have the self control to deal with it correctly, which is why society prohibits the behaviour (for their own good), and dresses it up with some moral arguments which make little sense really.

I do serve this country with the utmost dignity gents and seen my fellow brothers pay the ultimate price for freedom and I've been wounded more that once, so serving isn't the issue. Don't read this wrong...I like all the comments but lets not worry about my duty.

Let's leave the morals out and think of the situation as just another chick. Most of you probably banged a married chick before or wanted to. Anyways, dig the advice on the DJ side of all your comments...and I must agree...I f**ked up by dragging this situation out so long...

Anyways...seems like you all think I should just say screw it and move on. We’re actually going on a Conference with other co-workers soon and if anything should/could happen it would be there out of town….what DJ advise do you have here?
