Missed opp. Any ideas?

There's this waitress that works in a resturant nearby,who I think is interested. A couple of nights ago she was my waitress. And I didnt know how, more what than how, to ask her. Now I feel like I missed an opportunity.Which sucks. And I want to go further to see if she's interested. Any ideas.
I go to that resturant only with my parents, kind of like a family tradition. And i'll probably go there again in about a month with my parents. I need sooner more that later. I need a good excuse to show up there. Any ideas? I should have said something to her.:cuss:

No need for a smartass answer, a polite greeting followed by an introduction is never a bad thing.

If me telling him to be a man and do what needs to be done offends you, then you are in the wrong forum. Guys are always looking for ways to dance around things that real men need to do. We're not dancers. Sometimes you need someone like me tell you to stop dancing and get it done. What the original poster is probably looking for is for someone to tell him a more eloquent way to dance around the issue of lack of confidence. But I will do no such thing.

I was responding to the OP...lol. He said no smartass answers please, so I said those aren't needed. I agree with you, he's looking for a way around actually having to utilize his pair and doing the dirty work. There's no substitute for taking stuff head on, even if it does knock you down. Get up and try again.

The issue is that you are focused on asking one woman out, and you are looking for answers so that you can wait a few weeks and ask her out again.
Are you not planning on finding any other attractive women to talk to in the meantime?
You do not say if this was a cold approach or that you have some situation with repeated contact with her specifically, so why would you dwell on her.
Once you can achieve the mindset that you understand why people say there are a lot of fish in the sea, why that TRULY applies to women then you will understand that people will keep on fishing after the "Big One" that got away.
Also, do a search on waitress in the forum guide, their job is to be friendly and helpful, that is the natiure of their work and what generates better tips.
They and single moms are at the top of the red flag list.

Just because I dont have as much posts as Da there, doesn't mean I'm just starting out. By the way girls like guys who can dance. Just throwin that out there.
I'm not looking for anyone to tell me to stop dancing and get it done.I know theres no way around it. Don't state the obvious. Second, I just wanted some ideas for running into her. I wasn't looking for a lesson in philosophy. Since some of you overthink everything and clearly you dont have any ideas, a fine no what have done fine. The thread said : Any ideas? It didnt say courage. Does anyone have some they can spare?

Hey no prob, and I didn't mean to bust on you or anything, just seemed like from the tone of your post that you needed a not so gentle reminder that you need to act decisively and quickly. There really is no fancy trick, just do what you said, 'run into her.' Your excuse is you're a good guy who wants to meet a nice waitress, and find out more about her.

True, but that's a general rule. We're in no position to accurately judge his situation, or for that matter, his perception.
