So I had a first date dinner with this girl tonight, but I was busy at my cousin's wedding and forgot. I just checked my voicemail and she left a message that she's super hungry and waiting for me LOL

(that was a couple hours ago)

what should I do when I see her again/when should I call her back?

How the **** do you forget:

a) you had a wedding to go to when you were making the date
b) that you had a wedding to go to when you could have politely called and rescheduled the date

You're a ****.

how I forgot:

when I told her let's have dinner on saturday evening, her response seemed like another way of saying no....

she said I'm joining a study group so if they go have dinner i will go with them, but if not then I'll call you.

so I thought wtf is this ridiculousness, if she's not fully interested... next (i've been reading on here and that's what everyone says to do)

(i was at an engagement ceremony and the music was on real loud and I didn't hear my phone ringing, so I noticed her message way too late)

haha well at least it was the other way round for once.

Since you stood her up, have you heard from her? I'm assuming not.

As for rescheduling, i guess it depends on how high her interest levei in you is. The most you can do is apologize and try reschedule.

Failing that, move on.

You did NOT miss a date!!

She said she'd "call you." So what?? Did you guarantee you'd answer?

If you want to make a date, just make one.

(And you're right, she's not that interested in you)
