It's called a refeed day. Keeps your thyroid from shutting down.

I agree with sstype, although he may be alittle extreme. But who honestly doesnt know this? If you've read DIESEL's guide to bulking, or know any common knowledge about bodybuilding, you know its best to stay away from fatty/unhealthy foods. You dont even need to name them "wussy foods"... all you need to know is that they are bad for your health. Plain and simple.

As for the day off, I always thought it was to help you stay motivated. Kinda like it being super hard to go cold turkey, but if you have a cheat day, its easier to deal with. If you go Nazi on it, it may work for a short time, but after awhile you're bound to break down and binge.

Reread my post. If you are in some circumstance where your only lunch available consists of hamburgers and french fries, sure go for that hamburger and few fries and have a nice glass of water with it. But dont go OVERBOARD.

RESIST the temptation! Only sissy girls binge on cake and ice cream. So be a fycking man for once and say no to yourself.

IMO, though, there really is no need for a "reward" grease burger or french cheesecake. The reward comes in the form of a much better looking body and healthier body!

Flame away...
They're not "wussy foods" and abstaining from them doesn't make you more of a man. You make it seem like just because those foods are actually enjoyable that that means you can't eat them and be a man. Come on. Loosen up some. You've got the right idea, but you're taking it to the extreme.

I agree that you should usually stay away from a lot of that stuff but every now and then it's not going to make any difference if you have it. And what's wrong with cheese? It has hella protein, like 7 grams or something per little slice (assuming you get the sliced cheese). Sure there's probably bad stuff in it but when you're bulking like me and have a fast metabolism then it doesn't really matter. That probably holds true for a lot of the other foods on your list too.
