I've been working at Abercrombie & Fitch for about a year and a half now and things have been going great.
I think this is the job where I finally got over my fear of hot women. It's like a playground where you learn all the fundamentals of interacting with attractive guys and attractive girls.
It's a super boring job, but it's never insanely busy unless you're working at the rich cities where there's a lot of traffic in the store. What do you do while there's nothing to do? Flirt and talk about school, sex, parties, etc... without getting into trouble. You just need to know where to draw the line when it's about sex.
The women you work with are so hot... and the customers are so hot, too.
You can completely get away with hitting on customers and playing C&F games with them and even your coworkers. Sometimes even the managers encourage it.
It gives you a perfect excuse to get to know hot coworkers, and the hot coworkers can even be used as social proof when you're being C&F with customers. You can even set up parties and easily get people to come if you're the top dude at work.
Fun stories: -----
Two days ago:
I saw an old classmate from this college I went to last Spring, and she's super short... even to me, and I'm pretty short. I just asked her how she was and how school was going for her... paused the conversation... checking if she was trying to stick around and talk, she just stood there smiling and looking at me. I told her I had to get back to work and I let her do her thing. I checked up on her and asked if she needed a certain size in these jeans, and I joked that she might not be able to reach the short sizes at the very top... and I grabbed the smallest ones and put up next to her and measured her. She was giggling the entire time.
Later after she bought her clothes, I asked if she's done messing up my shirt stacks and the entire store. More giggling.
I swear, these total babes LOVE being made fun of.
Today:
I worked with this chick that looked familiar (because she was old friends with one of my friend's sister who used to come by their house and party her high school freshman year), I asked her If she went to <my old high school>, and that she looks familiar. Told her how I remember her, but not her name. Told her I used to party at that friend-of-mine's house and I think I remember her there... and she went on about how she did and how crazy those days were. I told her there's one going on again, and that she's invited. But I don't think she was interested in going. Blah blah, she mentioned prom and I just laughed and said prom is silly. And I explained that it's for girls... blah blah, and I mentioned since she went to the same school with me, prom was probably for girls to lose their virginity (I only said it because there was a comfort zone since we both "know" our school... making it not awkward at all). And she agreed and compared it to this guy worker's school who was in and out of the conversation.
The guy coworker was around and I started talking to him, since I never spoke to him and just met him. Asked him some questions without saying his name, and she would answer a few times. So I looked over at the guy and said, "I'm sorry, she's trying to interrupt. What were you trying to tell me?"
Then I turned around to her and said, "Fine! I'll ask you the same exact question after I'm talking to him!" Then continued talking to the guy. Then I quickly asked her the questions real fast and paused and told her, "That's interesting," and continued talking to the guy. I wasn't necessarily smiling the entire time, but more like smirking or grinning slightly... or whatever, just keeping a straight face in a way (I'm usually very straight-faced about my jokes at work, and sometimes the girls take me seriously... these hot girls are often VERY insecure or get offended VERY easily).
I told him he missed the glory days of working there when the HOT girls from his high school worked here... and now he's stuck with girls from <my old high school>... while she was right between us listening in (she's the ONLY one from my school). She just giggled and was like, "OMG, I can't believe you just said that in front of me!"
Skipping some other parts, because I stopped talking and just chilled for a while... letting them talk about thing since they're already acquainted with each other. I was lightly listening in, but not trying to eavesdrop... just picking up some interesting things to talk about.
Later after the silence I was looking at her until she looked back at my eyes and I asked her if I hurt her feelings, and she seemed playful about it and said, "Yeah,"... so I just looked her up and down and just smiled at her, obviously checking her out while she was looking straight into my eyes.
I picked up from the conversation she was having with the guy coworker, both talking about their boyfriends and girlfriends and longest relationships, that she has a guy or "something" and she hate's being called often about where she's at and what she's doing and that she likes being independent. I didn't care to listen in about the details... just finding an interesting topic like I said.
I asked her, "So, you have a needy boyfriend?" She told me she didn't like needy guys and doesn't have a boyfriend. Finding common ground, I told her I don't like needy girls also, "I don't like needy girls too, where they want to call you all the time... you know how that is."
That was where I just left the area, clocked out, and got ready to leave. I was walked out of the store and said my farewells to everyone.
Then I remembered I wanted to buy something, and I come back in about 5 minutes later.
Got my stuff and checked out. Chatted her up again. These teenyboppers that were about 11 and 12 who knew my older brother from his church came in and told me something they were trying to find out when they came in two times earlier. They were trying to find out how old I was really.
So they asked that female coworker I've been chatting up what my real age was (I told her my age in the earlier conversation) and she lied and said she didn't know. I turned to the teenyboppers and said, "She won't tell you because she's in love with me." Not sure what her reaction was... but she just smiled. When the teenyboppers left, she asked me if those were my girlfriends, so I just told her those kids go to my brother's church and somehow they know me. I told her, "I'm telling your needy boyfriend on you... I'm telling him you're asking me about other girls... he's going to get so jealous!" Then she told me again she doesn't have a boyfriend.
Then I just said my farewells again, and took off.
