Metaphor Regarding Approaches

Think of an approach as being a free slot machine with extremely good odds. Let me explain..

So you're wandering around a free casino, looking around to see which game you want to play. Would you just sit there and not play any of them? NO!! Thats free money! Sitting there doing nothing would guarantee that you lose at all the games and go home empty handed. Instead, you would run around pulling every handle and rolling all of the dice because theres absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain!

It is the same way with approaches. Inaction is guaranteed rejection so why not atleast take a chance at success?

There truley is nothing to lose unless you do nothing.

wow how did you come up with that, this should be put in the bible, iv heared many posts convey the same thing but not quite like this. I love the analgy, its so strong, i am going to try and rmember this one.

although i would find a different metaphor for girls rather than "slot machines"

as people tend to associate slot machines with lifeless old people hooked up to oxygen tanks wasting their life savings one nickel at a time.

how about approaching girls is like you are in control of a beautiful yacht (your body) and you are on a luxurious fishing trip (female population) and every time you cast your line you increase your probabilty of snagging the girl of your dreams.

in contrast if you keep telling yourself "i'll cast it when the conditions are perfect" you will never cast because the conditons will never be perfect. The right time to do anyting is right now. You will find the necessary tools to complete your tasks as you proceed in your journey.
