I met this girl on myspace and we set up a date to meet this saturday. She emailed me thursday night and said she won't be able to make it because she'll be visiting her family for the easter. I said cool. We arranged to push it for today and she agreed. We planned to meet at 9pm. At 9, I was at the randezvous but she was not. waited for 10 minutes and called her. She told me she was sick the whole day which was why she was not able to make it. Do you all think this is a good sign? She disppointed me not once but twice in a roll.

So she didn't even bother to call you to say she couldn't make it? Time to move on to someone else.
She did not have my number then. She only sent an email. What really disturbed me was I had to leave a banquent I was earlier than normal simply to meet her. I think she played me. We haven't seen each other yet though.. I'm sure once she sees me, she'll find me interesting then I'll damp her for her actions.

I love it when AFC's make excuses for their oneitis's. A DJ wouldn't even ask what to do after getting flaked on. He would move on to one of the other 10 plates he has spinning instead of fretting over "the one".

edit: took me 3 edits to get damm quote working properly

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

So you think I should just let her go and never talk to her again? Don't you think that sounds a bit childish?

Questioning this advice is more than a bit childish, you need to read the DJ Bible a few more times.

I'm almost starting to think this post should be in the HS forum instead of this one.

Man I can't believe the questions some so-called "men" ask on here. SHE STOOD YOU UP MAN! You need to be slapped for asking if it's a good sign. Common... WTF.

Don't even bother with this selfish ***** anymore bro, she doesn't give a flying fvck about you, or she would have at least called and cancelled.

Apparently she did emailed prior to the appointed time. However, I did not receive the email until after the meeting time. I assumed everything was set. Plus I had to go to a banquet and planned to leave the banquet early to meet her so... yeah she sent an email but I just did not receive it on time to re-orient my plans.

1 strikes and she's out! B!tch:box:

Bro, bottom line is you tried twice and you have no date. Even if the first flake was legit (which I'm sure it wasn't) she would have lost any possible interest she might have had in you when you let her fvck you over the second time. PLEASE MOVE ON! :woo:

swampwiz, you better lighten up on dissin' the myspace honey's. I pulled an adorable little 23 y/o off there a few weeks ago that comes over for $ex once or twice a week, gives me a massage and lets herself out. Of course, there were 32 before her that did flake...............

In online dating, the male pirate is the one who is just lying about himself to get sex with a girl who is unconnected to his social circle, so he can easily get rid of her afterward.

The female pirate is the one who has no intention of ever meeting in real life, but pretends to so that she will get attention. This case sounds like one of those.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.
