Today I met up with this girl who had a crush on me and I realised how well i am doing currently.

Back then she was cute but now she has put on weight and is not cute anymore lel

Whereas I have been working out and keeping myself fit.

I don't want to be a jerk for judging on physical appearance, but she just let herself go like holy crap.

However what is ironic about this is that back when she had a crush on me it was out of no where. We never spoke or anything, we only crossed each others way in the morning to get the bus.

Back then i had had only a few highschool girlfriends if you can call them so.

Somehow she got my number and texted me. We hanged out a couple of times and she was all over me: initiated texting, kino, wanted to see me all the time, hell she even kissed me once without any warning.

This went on for months.

Have a guess what I did for her to be constantly on her toes.

You've guessed it: fyck all, i was indifferent to everything she did. It was like i was playing hard to get without realising it, i wasn't even attracted to her.

What i would like to know though is how the hell she was so attracted to me by just watching me walk down the road. And how can i do this to other women.

C'est son état d'esprit.

She remembered you from High School, I don't know how old you are but probably High school wasn't long ago.

You've improved, she declined... she had something for you in High School which rebounded by your ''NC-indifferent etc...'' oh and she seems desperate... so she's chasing you....

Its just a woman with few options... but you know what a woman interested in you would do.... this can be applied to all level.

I know a 10HB (big breast, slim, green eyes etc....) who picked up a 6.4 300 pounds guy in a bar once (long time ago)... curious if they still together.

So all you have to do is initiate contact, be above neediness, kino her, surprise her... all girls will be like her... but you'll know desparate and non-desparate difference

So stop wasting your time on her. Even thinking about her is wasting your time since you've indicated you are not attracted to her at all and she's been on the decline.

Thinking about our daily life, how we have reacted to the events on it, how different we react now if we compare how we would have reacted in the past....is that a waste of time? Reflecting is the rest period of our experiences...we integrate them into our body and mind, we make them OURS, we make our character stronger and yet more subtle thanks to reflection. Not a waste of time, not at all.

It was no waste of time, the last time i saw her was over 2 years ago. She said she was in the area and suggested to meet up nothing more. And i am happy i did see her again to be honest

No you don't seem to understand, we met up in a friendly way because she moved and happened to be in the area. Last time i had seen her was over 2 years ago.

That's great and I'm glad it's working out, sort of I guess. When i was your age I too went into this reflective period trying to really take in everything that had happened to me during all my school years since kindergarten and now realizing I was out in the world as an adult and will have to figure out my own way. Even though I already had specific plans and goals in mind, it was still pretty scary at times.

But try to understand also that I'm not your age anymore so my perspective on your post is a little different. These days I dont waste my time on women trying to be simple acquaintances or "friends", women are there for sex and potential relationship stuff. Maybe the two of you will keep in touch but I seriously doubt anything more than maybe occasional Facebook chats or getting together when the two of you are in town again will happen. I have been down that exact same road before with people I used to know in high school and we all moved on with our lives.

Either you've got feelings for this chick or you don't but in reading your post, you don't. Why not try to focus on other stuff that's more productive?

So true, but in some ways I would have preferred to keep her in mind as the "cute girl who had a crush on me".

The older I get the more i find that most of the time trying to refresh your memory about events/people from the past is a bad idea. It often ruins what used to be nice or positive memories who you will never get back the way they were.

My father was in south africa for 5 years in the 80's and when i ask him if he wanted to go back that's exactly what he said: "it would ruin my memories of how it was back then".

Fair enough, but honestly i did not expect her to have 10kg extra since last time i saw her.

Trust me that after a while on SS i would have at least used it as practice if you can call it so. But as soon as i saw her i was like no thanks...

Essentially, with this post i wanted to say that in some ways seeing what she became compared to 2 years ago and myself to what i was 2 years ago, i feel like i have improved myself. At least physically by putting time and energy into working out.

That's great, just slow, steadily keep trying to improve yourself a little bit at a time. By the time your 10 year reunion comes around you will have some real eye openers like the rest of us.
