2. He was ABSOLUTELY serious... if he didn't get what he wanted, he was willing to walk away and MEAN IT. So don't think any dude can do this... she has to value you and be fearful of losing you, and she has to believe she can't do any better than you. Yep... it's amazing to me how many men think behaving like this is some kind of 'game', that all they have to do is pretend they don't care any any chick will step in line. The woman has to be attracted to you... meaning whatever it is that she is looking for... you have, and if you have it is spades... the more she will be attracted to you.

I blame the PUA 'community' who make their living selling services to guys trying to get a particular woman. So they sell these dudes on the idea that all they have to do is learn their 'method' and you will have success. The only way PUA stuff really works is because guys are putting themselves out there, and hit up lots of women.... then by serendipity, they happen upon one that happens to like what the man has.... then his behavior drives up her interest.

It's a fact that life is so much easier for men that are genetically 'gifted' and are naturally good looking, above average height... all their hair, with a nice body frame to work with. But even if you are not... you can control what you wear, what you eat.... make time to exercise... and spend your time building a productive life. But no matter it's all a numbers game.... if you are naturally good looking, and work to be the best version of yourself the percentage of women that will find you attractive will go up.

No one should have a problem with this... if a chick isn't attracted... or has lost interest, just walking away is ALWAYS the right way to be and best for everyone. Best for the man because he doesn't waste time and resources chasing a chick he really doesn't have a chance with. It's best for the chick that really likes you because she WANTS you to be something worth chasing... and if the chick doesn't like you then she is happier because she doesn't have some clueless dude stalking her.

For me... I do fine, most women are attracted to me, but I'm not stupid enough to believe it is all my behavior... I am REALLY lucky that I happen to look like a cross between Rob Lowe and Kevin Costner, so things are relatively easy for me... growing up like this means my whole life I was always validated by chicks... when you grow up like this your confidence with women just naturally goes up. However, I lose women all the time... the principle reason is my age... many women just can not get past the fact that I'm 52.... even though I look 10 years younger. A chick that has a mental block because of my age will NEVER be able to get past that. I had a date last week, and when my age came up you could just see in her body language and behavior that this was a problem for her... before this came up she was VERY attracted... after, well it just became a pleasant conversation. This does not bother me... the chick can not control what she is attracted too... so I just move on.

I know... but the truth is that I am just painfully honest. My acting skills a cr@p, and even if I try to stretch the truth I can't pull that off people can see right through me. Sometimes I can tap dance around the age question and turn it into a game... most chicks love this, and it flips the script... now she is trying to prove herself to you.... like 20 questions, only I don't give them that many tries: They have a certain amount of tries and another rule is that they can only ask questions about EVENTS, and not just dates. Ask me yes and no questions and let them try to figure it out. You can also learn a lot about a chick by what kind of questions she asks. I had one focus on what President was in office... I had another ask questions about when songs or movies came out. It give you an indication of what they are interested in.

But really... for every chick that is turned off by my age, there is one that is turned on by it. Lot's of chicks have older guy fantasies, and they love talking about this stuff with their girl friends.... One chick was so turned on by the fact I was old enough to be her father we actually had sex in the car... I hadn't done that since I was in college.

Female perspective: So true, that IDGF stuff only works well on women who are into the guy.

But for women who are not interested, they really don’t care (and likely don’t even notice) some guy’s attempt to show her that he doesn’t care.

I really do feel that if she’s into you, she will make it easier, and the less games you have to play. That’s honestly how I see the vast majority of females I know act, including myself. I have seen women interested in alphas, full on betas, all out nerds, guys with physical disabilities, guys with mental illness, poor guys, rich guys, guys with the personality of a bag of lettuce. If there’s something they like in that guy, they will try to make it happen, without that guy having to play games or learn some master PUA skill.

A lot of it really is serendipity and putting yourself out there.

If you are older and look good, totally owning it is attractive to women of all ages. Lying means he is lacking confidence and that will manifest outside of the lie. If she finds out she will assume he is lacking or doesn’t feel he is worthy of her, hence the lie.
