Recall researching around finances during my divorce and from what I recall the best chance of not losing more than you need to, is to never tell them about all the assets you have and to move them offshore (somewhere not on the mainstream financial radar) when getting married or sooner, so if it did come to divorce years down the line, the wife is unaware and the solicitors are unlikely to find them in their searches recent paperwork. Not sure how accurate or relevant this still is to the current climate. Obviously if you separate, then start moving stuff around and they see activity in your accounts when conducting searches, you'll get found out.

You also have to consider getting the financial side 'signed off', as in the UK there are 3 unrelated parts in the process. 1)divorce itself, which officially ends the end of the marriage. 2) Kids custody. 3) Financial. So most people will get 1 of course, otherwise you're not divorced. But the other 2 parts are optional. You can deal within them between yourselves with no input from solicitors, assuming you're both in agreement - of course the legal bods push for you to get the other 2 'formalized', but they're not mandatory. So you can get divorced for less than 1k between you.

Issue with leaving financial side open is that either party can still make a claim on the other at any stage down the line. So you hear the odd story of someone going on to have big business 10 years later, then the ex spouse climbs out the woodwork to claim a portion of that.

I've more pursued medium term relationships with women as a goal (1-3 year type relationships) and even though are difficult to build. I haven't exactly had "playing house" desires with women. I haven't come close to putting a ring on it. Living with a girlfriend has been discussed and dismissed. I've done ok as my lifetime notch count is above most men's but had a lot of poor experiences as I've gone through life.

Probably the best shot men have at a stable relationship is to get a girl when she's young, un-jaded, in-experienced and still able to pair bond. Unfortunately, once a woman has been pumped by a few different dudes (it really doesn't take much), her ability to bond to 1 man is basically in the toilet.

You'd have to start an LTR with a woman with by her 22nd birthday to have a chance at this. That's even debatable as it doesn't take too much. It would depend upon her experiences in high school, college (if she attends), or her first post high school years in the workforce (for those who don't attend college). I attended college, though I often think I would have been better off doing the trade school and blue collar route. As a result of attending college, I saw how college women behaved in the early to mid 2000s. The women I attended college with are now in their late 30s and many are already mothers (a couple became MILFs). Women at my college had so many opportunities to have sex. In one semester, with minimal effort, a woman could have sex with 3 men. It takes 8 semesters to graduate if graduating on time. Most women have some extended relationship while in college which keeps down their notch count. In 4 years of college, a woman having 5 sexual partners is common. If you add in her high school partners, that is around 8-10 at age 22. A woman with a notch count of 8-10 at 22 wouldn't be uncommon and wouldn't be considered promiscuous, but even that would limit her pair bonding.

Exactly this. The "competition" is so bad that simply being a cool, fun, normal guy these days puts you in a higher tier since women are used to meeting weirdos, socially inept guys, guys with no ambition, job, place of their own, etc. This is literally 75% of what you are competing against.

China is a **** hole for dating imo. Hong Kong is still pretty good though and so is Taiwan. But things are changing quickly. It was extremely easy when i first went over there 15 years ago. Yep exactly. Most of the normal non pro girls there are very traditional and virgins until marriage. Not all though. In Bangkok, you can definitely meet some decent college chicks though who just want to hook up. Dating apps are best for that.

Your right, men don't have leverage, we have to create our own leverage, I mean I'm a good looking fit guy, that in itself is leverage and if you think otherwise then your living in a different world, aesthetics alone is a huge bonus.

The problem is the market is saturated and that is also the solution, to understand that there is a whole economy of women ready to service men who got burned on a date, I know a guy that took a broad on a $5k trip like a week after meeting her on Tinder and he never got laid, lol, the next woman that gave him any sort of attention was pregnant and not by accident.

I've been to HK about 5 times in my life for business trips. The nightlife is pretty cool, but when I'd go into bars there these vampiric Chinese insect women would start circling me and staring it me with hungry hollow eyes. They are like spiders. I'm not into it.

Most Asian women at bars are low quality in general. I never go out to bars in hong kong to find women only to drink.
