Meeting in Real Life is not "Anything Else"

I recently made a poll asking if anyone from this forum had met a sosuaver in real life, with some disturbing results:

14% (10 people) met a cool guy from sosuave
10% (7 people) met a weird guy from sosuave
70% (49 people) never met someone from sosuave

Because hardly anyone from this forum has met up with a sosuaver in real life, they don't understand how important it is to actually know someone before reading their posts. Guys from my lair whose posts I read before I met them, I didn't really understand until I saw them in action in real life.

Besides, how do you know that everyone on this forum isn't just making up BS to boost their ego? Statistically, one in three people on this forum making those epic posts about self-improvement is GUARANTEED to be an unhappy weirdo with no social skills. Of the ones which haven't met anyone from this forum, it's impossible to say how many actually are happy and social, and probably most of them aren't, or else they wouldn't post on internet forums so much.

Mods, meeting guys in the real world is not "Anything Else". Rather, it should be one of the main focuses of this site. Not something so be relegated to a sh*tty wingman forum that nobody actually reads. Not something to be shoved into the crapbucket of Anything Else with eighty-five penis joke threads. It's the best, and fastest way for AFCs to learn how to become socially competent.

Honestly, I appreciate your sense of humor and I know that without you guys, this place would be overrun by spam and "Can Asian guys really get laid?!?!?" threads. You guys volunteer your time for free, so I can see why you'd get pissed at guys who make stupid threads then insult you when you close them. But I encourage you to be more open-minded on this issue. Most guys will never get out of their ruts just by reading posts by other guys, most of whom are stuck in those same ruts.

I know you guys could delete this thread or kill it by moving it to Anything Else or some similar forum, but I hope you don't. And who knows, maybe I'll meet up with one of you someday, and I can get you in with all the ladies by telling them how you're the badass alpha male moderator of an internet dating website.

I hail from the 503...where are the rest of you guys...if we actually had Dj's teaming up in the real world it would strengthen this website and add a interactive dimension about it...plus you could find out who the armchair DJ's were to. By the way 503 is Portland....and there are plenty of places here to go buck wild on the HB's..just hit me with a PM anyone whos interested in clubbing (ptowners only unless you are coming down from Seattle or something- we all know Portland is arguably the better clubbing city)

Funny, I always thought that one of the main focuses of this site was meeting girls in the real world. Had me fooled.

I'd be willing to meet people from here if I knew they were around my level and had things in common outside of this site and the desire to meet women.

I absolutely detest talking ONLY about girls. Or about game. Or about wing tactics, blah, blah, blah. Which is all I hear when hangin out with guys from sites like ASF. And the JOKES. GOD how I hate the lame jokes. It's cool the first five minutes but if I have to hear another joke about AFC's, or shiet about being the "alpha male" I'll fvckin barf.

The other issue is that guys look at me like I'm their idol. I dislike saying that because it feels so boastful but that's honestly how it seems. I'm pretty good with the ladies but I'm still a dude with his own fvcked up problems like anyone else.

I'm willing to show guys the ropes if they are cool guys who just need some help with women, but I don't like the feeling of them looking up to me. It's happened several times and the night just isn't fun. I don't want a monkey who hangs with me. I want to be fun guys who have a life and don't make girls a priority. More like girls are just a plus and the priority is to go out and have fun. Which to me means NO SARGING. I no longer go out with the intention being to pick up women. I go out to get shiet done or hang with my friends/on my own. And if I happen to see a girl I'm attracted to I'll talk to her and take it from there.

I've hung with and sarged with about 10-15 guys from these sites and I've only made one real friend in the process: Afropua. Though he doesn't post here, he posts on the SF Lair board.

I love hanging with Naturals. Those guys are the coolest to be around. No c0ckblockin, they instinctivly know what's up, and they are out to have a good time.

If you're a Natural who isn't too heavily concerned with what is/isn't alpha, AFC, 25 points of bodylanguage, the DJ bible, being a Don Juan, SSer, etc etc, and are in my area, let me know. Maybe we'll chill and have an awesome time.

That's exactly how I feel about ASF. It doesn't produce cool guys you can chill with and have fun, it takes guys with 0 personality, teaches them a few gimmicks and turns them into boring ass robots who run the same scripts over and over again and have NO PERSONALITY of their own.

So true Superman. I've always wondered about dudes on here that have been around for 18 months and have 3000+ posts under their name, it's even lamer when they gotta flame you on a internet forum about how many chicks they've boned when they're 45 years old and unmarried.

Seems like a fair few people are jumping on the bandwagon leaving sosuave, lifeforce has pissed off here, Duke007 has fvcked off and a whole host of others think that this site has been invented by a bunch of computer geeks who have no game whatsoever and are waking up to smell the roses.
