Passive is an alpha trait? Is this a joke?

I thought aggression was a masculine trait.

Or am I being trolled?

By the way I meditate in the sauna for 10 minutes after I work out. I also meditate at night for 23 mins.

Yes Alphas are aggressive yet passive. Betas are 100% passive, in fact alphas are really 100% aggressive, so I like to call it Alpha the Omega or a Dj

How did you get to the number of 23 minutes, Seymour??? Why not 22, 20, or 25?
I'm 23 years old so I go in accordance to the amount of minutes based on my age.

There are great benefits to meditation....i meditate with qigong usually daily for half an hour and then meditate in my bed each night for about 30-40 mins before i sleep...the benefits are endless mentally, spiritually and physically......you don't need to go to some resort to learn....for basic meditation each night just lay on your back in your bed and focus only on your breathing and nothing else...basic meditation is keeping your mind strictly on one thing or nothing at a time for extended periods of time and when you get good at it you will find it quite pleasurable.....most people don't realize just how clouded their mind's are and how much it bogs them down each day...

for something more advanced, find a qigong teacher...the qigong that i learned is very powerful...it completely alters the way i feel each day and only takes half an hour to do each day......any more than that literally feels too strong for me...

There is an Indian proverb that says that everyone is a house with four rooms, a physical, a mental, an emotional, and a spiritual . Most of us tend to live in one room most of the time but unless we go into every room every day, even if only to keep it aired, we are not a complete person.

Meditation is good. If you want to learn how to have a stable and calm mind then it will work wonders. To talk it down without having any understanding about it is beyond ignorant and stupid.

Nah fb sucks, because there is too many acquaintance. Here I don't need to hear that 'attention *****' thingy as many times as there.
And let me add a little bit: What is wrong with attention *****. As I see it, you are also being a attention *****! otherwise you would just ignore me.. Now then again, I enjoy this, and if you call discussing things here a attention horing - where its supposed to be discussed, then Im glad I am a attention *****. There must be something wrong with you! There must.. because in a place where you are supposed to discuss things, why be quiet? Why not talk. And in a place where you are allowed to talk and seek attention of people, now will you do the opposite? - not seeking attention. This is just stupid.

Adam: yes I have spent few days now doing meditation and it does wonders. Before trying I was like no way..

TheFap Princess. Yes For little piece of sluts. Just kidding

Zing: This Qiqong sounds interesting. I will try it when I get deeper into this basic meditation!

Interesting. Now I think that is only a symbol. For example, if we don't know how to relax, our action will be a kind of disturbance. So life should be all dimensional. The vaster, the more complete life is.

Where is there, sweetie?

This is a place for debating somewhat targeted topics. Attention vvhoring and trolling is wasting time.

You should read the book "As a Man Thinketh" by James Allen. He was a 1800s British philosopher that goes in detail about how our thoughts shape our lives. If you want to to listen to the audio book, check it out on YouTube for free. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYaY6BFvGeA

Oi... I'd call it "assertive".

Aggressive without making an ass of yourself.
It's more masculine than anything. You can remain cool and push forward without having to seem like you're trying too hard (because you're not).

My favorite assertiveness technique is to do the "+-+" thing.

If you need to tell someone something, or you want to complain about something in some way to get a bit of help, start with a genuine positive statement, and then bring the bad news, and then make another positive statement. Positive, negative, positive.

Example:
"Hey, this fair is ****ing awesome and the rides are sweet, but I just worked out like crazy last night, so my legs are killing me just standing around constantly. Let's take a seat. We can have some delicious cotton candy!"

Simple, really. Positivity first. Real men don't get butthurt and angry over stupid sh!t, but they're also not passive and inactive. We're DJs, but buddhists. Nihilism does not have to take the path of inaction.

On another note, meditation is a great stress reliever and great for introspection on many levels, including (I know it sounds "Crazy") spiritual levels.
