Ok, Colin. To say that you are oversimplifying is what I might call an "understatement." If you're not into the outdoors, then you don't understand the gem that is Montana. Anybody who fly fishes, skis, backpacks, or anything of the like, understands what I'm talking about. I can carry a friggin side arm here walking down the street as long as it's registered and clearly visible. I love the freedom of this state. Home of the Freemen, the Unabomber, and Evel Knievel. Where you can smoke in the bars and drink in your cars (yes, you can drink in your car as long as you're not legally drunk).

Unfortunately, the trade off is a lack of decent women. You sacrifice some things for others. Not always so cut and dried. This is the mature man's forum btw. Lives become a little more complicated after 25 (family, assets, careers, etc). Thanks.

No its cool. I agree. As I said I am locked into a program here and then have professional considerations to contend with. It isnt like I work at Target and just give my two weeks and move and go work at Sears in another city.

I've had the good fortune of being quite the traveler and I'll concur that Manhattan is the place to be for eclectic, more affluent, hott(er) women. It's as if women in NYC have an expectation of being above the bar. I suppose it's due to the fact that the men in the area have more options thus making the women more competitive.

From The Village I moved back to Central Florida and I'm never looking back. I went from the proverbial frying pan and dove face first into the fire.

The only reason I moved from Pittsburgh after college is that there are no tech jobs. I really never noticed a lack of attractive women. Every time I go home I get nostalgic because I see so many attractive girls when i go to the mall because right now I live in a rural military town with severe restrictions on my options about 60-70 miles from DC. I think of the entire area when I think of Pittsburgh, not just the actual city. I was in a club that showed the super bowl in 2005 that was covered in hot women.

I'm actually interviewing for jobs in DC just so I can improve my social life and choice of women. It's lame that I have to do that, but stick your profile up on match.com or whatever in the DC area and hot girls will be messaging you. "I'm lonely and it's hard to meet people. I don't like meeting people at bars." Supply and demand is a beautiful thing if you're on the demand side.

Oh and the funny thing is that I meet a lot of girls from Pittsburgh that just don't live there anymore. It's this one giant community of "hey! is that a steelers hat? go steelers! hee hee! want to see my ass?" I meet a lot of people like that all over the place. The penn state hat works too. "oh are you from PA? did you go to penn state? that's cool, i'm from philly, want to touch my boobs?" Flyer scum...

Hehe, very true indeed. I've lived here in the DC metro area for 18 years. It's a very diverse area and you can find just as many cowboy fans as there are redskin fans. I have seen a lot of PSU alum around here, my cousin included. I rarely go to DC itself, but there are a lot of young single women there during the weekdays, even experienced a redhead who pretty much threw herself at me once...just another one that needs to be taken by the hand and lead around.

I find it hard to believe there isn't a plethora of 6's and 7's and quite a few 8's in Pittsburgh (just like everywhere else).

I have never been to the Midwest, but I am sure the reason the girls are more unattractive there is due to FAT!!

We are somewhat lucky to be living at the time we live now. Yes most american women are not worth marrying, yes they are dirty and are std ridden and obesity is rising, but you still find lots of hb's in lots of places. Imagine how bad the obesity problem will be in 10-15 years. Our kids are the ones that will suffer as fat women becomes the norm in the future. This is only getting worse and there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

in 15 years most places will be like pitsburg when it comes to lack of hot girls.

It matters when you are an average guy. What these sour grape threads misunderstand is that all of us here should be, or should at least aspire to be, far beyond the average guy, who is an afc (the 'a' in the acronym). When you can be in the top 5 or 10 percent of guys in regard to your game with women and overall desirability, then you will pull hot women anywhere. I live in a small town in middle America, and it would be just as easy for me to make excuses as anyone, but I know that every woman can't be a heifer; there really are beautiful women everywhere. Many of them are simply not fat yet, but that is no worry today. Maybe if you live in a small town, you have to date very young women, or Ellie Mae Clampett farmer's daughter types, but there are still hot chicks to be had everywhere. Excuses are not productive.

Therein lies our disagreement - the extent to which desirability may be improved by working on it. I see success with women to hinge upon traits you can change, in my guess, 95% of the time. Women only wish that they had it as good as we do in this area. Personality does go a long way with women, much farther than it does with men. We tend to lose perspective on that, the way that we care about looks a lot more than women do.

As one example, my sometimes-gf, sometimes-fb is a HB9 with at least ten guys in love with her, probably more. She's a female player. But I hear all the stories of her rejecting these AFC guys over and over, and it's not because of how they look - 19 times out of 20 it is because of how they act - pathetic, needy, low self-esteem, typical afc. Even the ones who start out well quickly turn afc. If any of them would change how they act, grow some balls and stop being needy wussy nice guys, then they could have her. The night before last she "dumped" me and said that we could never talk again, it hurt her too much. Then last night, she was calling me crying, begging me to dump my other gf to go back with her, saying she had never begged like this to a guy before, and she hated herself for calling me. All of this is not because of how I look - it's because of how I act. Control how you act, the way that AFCs can't, and you can have hot women regardless of where you live.

See that right there tells me you're going about it wrong. You should never ask a girl if she'd date you, or for that matter if she thinks you're attractive or if she likes you. You are communicating a lack of self-confidence and self-worth. You could be 6'3 and do that and the women would say the same thing, they'd just give you a different BS excuse why they won't date you besides height.

I've lived in small towns, I've lived in big cities, I've travelled the majority of this great USA. The song I've been everywhere man almost applies.

I do agree to some degree with what is stated. There are differences in different cities, but I always look for the best each place has to offer.

One thing is that if you are in Southern California, the weather is a huge incentive for the girls to stay in shape. The fact that most girls are in better shape there also means that for them to compete they have to have better personalities on average. The *****ier girls you find in Southern California are the ones that are transplants (i.e. New York or East Coast girls looking for stardom).

The key is for those that are *****ier, neg them more. For those that are nicer appreciate it.

The Midwest is pretty underrated for one thing. With the prevalence of Germanic, Czech, Polish culture there can be some of the hotter blondes you'll find. That is the ones that stay in shape.

The guy that keeps hitting the streets, sarging on a regular basis never goes hungry.

One day I'll post all the states that the girls I've banged are from, all the places i've picked them up at etc.

It would only seem like I'm bragging and thats not the point I want to make.

But I do have to say, if you are in a small town, moving to get more poontang options is every bit as valid as moving for your career. It's all about life happiness!

BTW the town I'm in now in the Midwest, my hometown has alot of nice hotties.. and it seems like I run into tons of them who are single and ready to mingle.

I've seen it at a bar and I've done it myself at a dance club. Except that we're both Viets, not Chinese. I'm 5'8", same height as yours, and the other guy is 5'6".
