A middle aged guy like me (38) is in a unique predicament if he has little or no experience with women. How do you go about getting experience when society says if you're a certain age with little/no experience there's something seriously wrong with you? Do you make up a dating history, fabricate past relationships? Try to change the subject if it comes up? Can I hear from some men who were (very) late bloomers and how did you go about it?

Dear Frankenstein,
One Man of my acquaintence went to a Psychologist, his problem was lack of confidence, coming from erectile disfunction problems...The Trick Cyclist organised a surrogate lover...expensive but did a bit of good for him...His confidence improved he found a Chinese Lover who I now see regularly...she is very obliging and understanding....he never became a great Lover, but as he was a great Dancer she forgave him...suggest you watch a few porn movies,do your Kegals, organise an escort for a couple of real life performances, then find an old Boiler to play with.

Don't lie. But you can be mysterious. If they ask about ex girlfriends tell them you really not the girlfriend type and its been years. Or tell them you just like to date. They might think you are a player but it's better to be a mysterious possible player than a complete liar.

The main thing is this. Be confident. Don't worry about it. And don't be super serious. Rarely have I had a woman ask me about my past. In fact I can't think of the last time a woman asked about my past relationships. They usually don't. It may come up in conversation, but I can't recall. If she's talking about her past relationships, get off the subject anyway. You want her in the here and now with you, not in the past with him. Right?

Women always seem to ask me why I have never been married. I just say that it just hasn't happened for me rather than the truth (i.e., every one that I have dated that seemed to be interested in marriage had psych issues!)

Treat the situation like a resume tailored for a job that you're not quite qualified for.

Don't outright lie, but exaggerate. You've had "relationships" with women over the years (maybe not intimate), but a favorite bank teller could be a low key Friday night date girl.

Also, like Warrior suggests, be vague.
When asked about previous, you could say "I never share details about past relationships, it doesn't seem right". This might actually work in your favor.

SH

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

Lie. Lie. Lie. Please...women lie all the time:

"I have a boyfriend" this is used to block AFC's from getting with them.

Wearing bras, when we all well know their breasts aren't really that big/supple

Make-up. Yeah, they don't really look like that.

Women are allowed to lie, but men aren't? Yeah...fvck that. LOL!

Fvck what society thinks. In the eyes of society its ok for women to ride the c0ck carousel and call that "empowering".

Lie ,be vague & dodge.

The real danger comes with a woman's sh1t tests. You need to know how to tactfully use your C&F when she attempts to filter you out.

38 is not middle aged. I'm 42 and don't expect to use that term until I'm in my 50's.

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

Right?

Fuk that sh!t OP, your perspective has been skewed by your esteem issues. It's all about how you see yourself.

As far as the girls go, I'm with the "vague & mysterious" crowd. Don't ever disclose the depth of your inexperience, deflect and dodge.

Lie yo' a$$ off.

Like somebody said "fake it till you make it." Even though I date multiple women I make up fake girls' facebook profiles etc and have them friend me and post flirty stuff on my wall. I did that just the other day with this hot new fake blonde and the next day one of the girls I'm dating made me a cake. With icing and everything. It's not even my birthday.

When I was on Myspace back in '06 or whenever, fully half of my female "friends" were fake. And gorgeous.

And 95% of the statistics on the internet...

Not in my family Scrouds. Besides "middle-aged" is a made-up label with no real meaning. It's almost a part of society's shaming of men who are actually at the most powerful time of their life. If you accept that external label, to bad for you.

not here. in the real world.
Don't talk about it man -- don't key in details -- just go with the experiences you are having and try to learn from them. I've never found it to be helpful to discuss other women, past relationships, or any of that, with women.

Maybe life has led you to this current place for a reason.

everybody's not out to getcha. Though I wouldn't call late 30s middle-aged. That's more 45-55 IMHO.

Aaaanyway, back on track. Lie or not? I say yes. Women forgive liars, they don't forgive unattractive men.

Look man, I'm gonna tell you from experience you shouldn't lie. Your inexperience is going to show at some point. Just don't say anything in the beginning. Once you build strong comfort and rapport, you can throw it in. I would word it like this. Can I tell you something I've never told anyone before? Then just say it. It works and she'll be way more understanding.

You may face rejection because of it, but it beats being humiliated when you get caught in a lie. Never sacrifice your integrity. Believe it or not I've met women who love it when a guy doesn't' have much experience. They feel like you're safe and won't try to take advantage of them.

On multiple levels, this sounds so very wrong.

A wise man told me once that a mid life crisis is only for guys that gave up their fun and their sports car in the first place. That's the str8up word right there.
