There's no such thing as ninjitsu. It's those "ninja masters" that call themselves that and call it ninjitsu.

Want to learn some ninja stuff? Go to japan and be a samurai. The quickest way to do so.

How bout you ignore all the bullsh*t mcdojos around with halfass self-proclaimed "shaolin masters" and go into boxing or kickboxing.

There's no secret magical martial art...thats just a bunch of horse sh*t. Fighting, like anything else, requires balls to the walls practice and strenuous exercise, not jumping around like a fukking fairy.

I've seriously thought about boxing. It seems very practical and some have said that after a few lessons, you at least have some of the basics down. This is what I really want. I'm just concerned about big fights where its me against like 3 people. I don't think it'll happen, but most likely, I will start boxing lessons in the summer. Thanks for all your help.

You can learn a lot of neat stuff in ninjitsu, but you have a lot of instructors that you'll find are full of shyt and have false credentials so be careful.

I'd stick with judo.

It's the most effective way of neutralising people with an option of not harming them. It's the only martial art I've seen that teaches you to fall properly.

I feel sorry you've cancelled it.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS ? btw

Do you wanna impress chicks by doing cool moves? Boost your ego? Win matches in a sport? Beat up a bullie at school? Or general self defence?

I am not making fun of you. It's all valid reasons to stuff, but you have to know where you wanna be before you choose something.

Hope this helps.

You're right...I'd better wait. I actually did a mini lesson with the instructor...but he owned me. And that **** hurt. I did like a friggin 180 and landed on my ass. I'm gonna think about this more. Here are my goals:

1) SELF-DEFENSE/Evasive maneuvers (dodging punches, blocking kicks, etc.)

2) GAIN MUSCLE

3) KICK BULLIES' ASS IF THEY PHUCK WITH ME

4) Impress ladies who happen to witness the fight.:D

Take up running :) Seriously. You usually get a feeling you're gonna be punched, so you can just run away.

2) GAIN MUSCLE
Martial arts don't do much there. Go to gym.

3) KICK BULLIES' ASS IF THEY PHUCK WITH ME
Do you want blood, gore and lawsuits OR neutralization of bullies, twisting their hand and making them beg to let go?

4) Impress ladies who happen to witness the fight.:D
Ummm... Don't know about that :D

Just hire a bum for 20 bucks and kick his ass. You don't need skills there. :D

lol thanks. I think I'll just not take lessons and save up the money I was going to use to pay for lessons to pay for a professional assassin. Yay. I bet those blood stained and a broken skull will impress those ladies real effectively.

1) Yea, I'm already running. About 30 min a day because I've got a lot of AP classes. I use an elliptical.

2) I lift weights, do crunches, and pushups. Not too much, maybe 4 days a week on average.

3) Lawsuits....DAMMIT!! Ok, neutralization will hafta do (does this change the advice you gave me?).

4) See bull**** paragraph above.

:D Good luck.

Ok.... I always wondered, if you're so smart, how come you get in trouble with so many people if you're in a good class?? It always makes me wonder.

Well 4 days is good enough if it is very intense.

Nope. I'd stick to my advice. Like I said, I have killed people before and I have gotten away with it.
Here's an example of self-defense. One day I was sleeping and woke up from a loud noise downstairs.
My first son (the youngest one) said "whoa what the hell?!" and the robber didn't know I was upstairs so I just hid there and pretended I didn't hear it. The dude, thank god didn't have a gun but had a crowbar.
So first thing first came out of the robber's mouth is "ok kid, get me the jewelries and money and I'm going to walk out of here". My son said "no **** you I ain't giving nothing, get the **** out".
My reaction? Walk downstairs like god (I have a pistol hidden between the bridge so in case I'm desperate, you better be ready cause it's fully lock and loaded and trust me, I will NOT miss). I walked down and said "well who the **** do you think you are?" Obviously the guy was stammered and everyone knew everyone was going to hurt one another. I did the "call the cops" hand signal. The guy said "don't ****ing call the cops or I'll kill ya both".
Me: either way you're ****ed, messing with the wrong person boy
Him: **** you
Attacked me with the crobar, missed, immediately with all my power (and taking risk being stabbed if he had a knife) took him down. Disarmed him, grabbed him neck while he's trying to move my hand. I kept pushing and pushing. Then (you'll see why) I let him go and pretend to be hurt when he hit my ribs.
He got up, got the crobar, tried to strike but knocked down quickly when I grabbed his ball. He immediately tried to run knowing he's ****ed, got him from behind, headlock, from there I pulled him, choked the **** out of him. He went unconscious and blood came gushing out of his nose after I striked him in the nose and temple a few times.

Cops came, arrested me, later when I proved my case (I had a camera shooting the dude all along) and the cops let me go. The guy's dead (broken skulls, broken nose, unable to breathe for a long time at the time when the damage was done), my door's broken (had to replace one with a wooden one for the night, then a metal one :( ) and my son enjoyed the fight.

So either way, I took up my **** and had no regret. Remember, if you're gonna kill, kill. Justify your killing. I did so with a camera and my son as witness. The dude had nobody. They even questioned my neighbor and the judge seemed to know me.
4) See bull**** paragraph above.
Not sure what you're referring to.

If you are afraid of hurting some kid, then what you learn will be useless. Unless you have the gut to use Bruce Lee's jkd "nut grabbing" or "finger-eye-jabbing" what you learned is useless.

I took up what I learned, was not afraid of using it, had fun, and enjoyed the fight.

Yah at the time in Virginia in 98. Lol, a lot of things look like bs, well I can't prove it.

Either way, my moral is you can and must justify killing. If you want to destroy your enemy, kill him.

I know it's allowed that if someone enters your house through robbery and burglarly (whatever that word is..) you can even shoot him.

And I always keep a camera around the hallways outside of rooms or doors or living room or whatever. I do it to almost everything. And you bet, lots of lawsuits for me, I make a lot of money this way.

Another bs you smell? No point in proving me in the internet lol.

No, I am just curious. Usually people describe graphically the convulsions and the death process of the guy who's dying...

Anyway - how is this related to the topic? :)

IMO Judo would've allowed you to grab his arm, twist it and then force him on the floor and keep him there. That's the beauty of it. No expensive trials, no traumatized kids...

Had you not had the camera, you could've been in jail by now.

The topic-"I am scared of the bullies at school, what do I do?"
My moral and tip-"kill them if you must, but first, hurt them enough so they can't get their revenge if they ever touch you". :)

Hehe, same with bjj. Get em into an armbar, tell them "stfu or you lose your left arm!" :p
Had you not had the camera, you could've been in jail by now.
Then again, I'm not stupid.

um...nice anecdote. Thanks for sharing. Yea, I'm in a good school, but like...all of a sudden all of my teachers gave us lectures about telling other people answers to tests and stuff and if they find out, they'll fail the first person. So thing is, people are gettin pissed cuz they gotta actually study now. Yea, I'm a noob. I did some punching and my knuckles are all red/cut now.:(

I took 2 classes with Vlad from russianmartialart.com

He knows his stuff, but he sucks at teaching. I think he landed on his head one too many times, so now he can't speak neither russian nor english, let alone teach it. :)

He barely gives any instructions during the lessons. The "fighting" is slow motion only. When I asked why, he told me to avoid injuries. When I asked where he served, he was quiet. When I asked again he asked who I was to ask that.

Me: A potential client. I am not asking the division and name of your commander. Just the forces.

He's quiet.

It's a class for guys who want to feel tough, the lessons are fun but it doesn't seem like they're getting out something out of it.

Vlad seems more like a fraud, and a salesman.

BTW: I am only critiquing vlad and his teaching methods. Not the fighting system itself.

Dunno, wouldn't blame someone who can't talk but tries to teach through motion. Give him a chance and pay for his language classes...
