So I don't know if any of you watch the game show the Moment of Truth on FOX but it just ended with tonight's show and I learned that there are some really fvcked up slvts in this world man...

The show deals with asking a person certain questions dealing with their life based on a lie detector test. They invite their family members to watch right in front of the interviewee and the show's host.

In tonights episode a woman about 26, who looked like an HB8.5-9 was being asked questions by the game host and her husband of less than a year was in the audience. She was asked for the $100,000 question, if she was in love with someone when she got married with her husband. the worst part is that the game show brought in her ex bf to ask that question

Someone from her family denied the question to be answered ( u are allowed one denial for the game show ) and she was asked another question, do u think u should be married to ur ex bf. and she said yes, it was true. and yet showed no emotion whatsoever. the husband looked devasted and she kept on going for more money!!!! the next question was did u have sexual relations while being married and she said yes and it was true!!

and then she got owned and lost all her money when the game show asked her the next question, do u think ure a good person? and she said " honestly, yes.." and it was FALSE. wat a b1tch. she deserves it. if I were her husband in the auidience I'd spit in her face and leave.

anyone else watch tonight's show? it was just ridiculous and I feel so bad for the guy.

Well, he picked her. Hopefully someone puts the clip on YouTube, it'll be worth watching his expression. I guess he'd never watched Jerry Springer. Gotta love the couplings of marriage nowadays, it's like a Grimm's Fairy Tale.

if you mean "sexual relations" with someone other than your husband, then he oughta divorce her

He's probably a member on this board, errr DJ!!

The last question should have been , "Are you a hor?" She would have said, "No" - as all hors say, and of course she would have lost - then pimps in bright clothes and pimp hats and capes would have escorted her off the stage!!!

Check here around Wednesday. They should have the whole episode up. I wanted to see this one but got held up in class. Anyway, this show goes to show you what some people are willing to do for money.

Yeah, that was the question.

Man...It was like watching a train wreck. You wanted to look away, but you just couldn't.

i don't understand why a few honest, law-abiding, straight-laced people don't just apply to that show to get an easy 100k

I don't think that they'd make it through the auditions.

Francisco is right about them not making it through the auditions.

Sleaze= ratings.

Good upstanding moral human beings are boring to the general world populace so garbage people are paraded in front of us on tv.

Thats the way it works.

I would love to see her expression after revealing all that sh1t then losing all the money hahaha.

I think she actually believes she's a good person. Women believe their own lies and BS. I think the game is rigged. They get people to reveal stuff like this and pass them to answer more questions and to keep rating high, then fail them on a dumb question. Polygraphs can be very subjectively determined. It's like, "Hmm you answered enough juicy question. Poligraph says you're lying now. No money for you!".

Because the bloody machine's gonna be wrong at least 1 or 2 times in 15 questions! Maybe even more. Just the stress of the question itself could trigger a false "lie" determination.

Any of you guys know how polygraphs work?

Some people can play them like a First Violinist...

And, like Francisco said, nobody who isn't swimming in a pigsty would even make the 1st cut ...

Thing I feel worst about is that the guy won't be able to at least walk away with a good chunk of change in the divorce settlement...

I know from experience you can lie on a question in a polygraph test and pass. It also has to be determined what the graph is reflecting-it's subjective.

That's the who point of the show they screen the people carefully and I bet the contestants Q and A's and a polygraph is ran without giving them the results before they go on to tape it, so the producers know what's going to happen.

Heh Heh that's why the girl is stupid. Even she won, this tape in court will probably mean he'll get more of the assets than would normally be the case. I'm leaning towards the theory that she wanted to divorce her husband anyway and thought she could do it this way and make more money and run off with the EX.

Hahahahaha, that's exactly what I was thinking! One of my friends went on a lie detector test and he said that when he told the truth, it said the statement was false. He also told me that he had been trying to deny that truth for a while, and because his denial was so powerful, he told the truth and it was a lie... if that makes any sense. Lie detectors can be fooled.

Lie detectors measure stress, anxiety and blood pressure ratings.

They don't actually read a person's mind which is why they are ultimately flawed machines.

I don't like that show because it just glorifies malicious behavior.

And I wouldn't say she's an 8.5, looks too fake. 7.5 maybe

i watched it and i was laughing my ass off. it seems as though that the guy knew, deep down, that his girl was a skank. and on the show, they both agreed that they had problems with their marriage in the beginning. and the husband also said that he knew that she had feelings for her ex-bf on their wedding day. he didn't look confident at all. it seemed to me that he is really desperate. desperate enough to have wanted to marry an obvious ***** that he knew had feelings for another man. this guy deserves the moral trauma he was put through. another good reason not to marry
