Marijuana will kill you
So I went to Amsterdam for two weeks for vacation and started smoking a lot weed. Needless to say it was an unique experience which in a way made me aware of a few things. The first thing was that after smoking all of that reefer, I didn't see any "life changing negative" side effect the government of this country suggests occurs after smoking it.
I currently live in the United States and marijuana is illegal in this country. I went to school here and I was taught that the reason I shouldn't puff the grass is because: "it will lead to another drug abuses such as heroin or cocaine", "it will damage my brain cells", "it will give me cancer", "it will lead me to do things I wouldn't normally do when I am sober such as impregnating a girl", "I will commit a crime and go to jail":trouble: and so many other reasons.
After I started smoking I realized that my senses were very heighten after I got high. I myself am a musician and I love music. After smoking I started to feel the music through my whole body and left me with a glorious experience.
The food also tasted so much better when I was high. I was also eating more often because I had the "munchies". The curious thing was that after eating so much for some reason I actually lost about 3 lbs.
I started getting high every day because it was a vacation and I was in the Disney World for adults. Every time I smoked I would be extremely happy and would laugh for long periods of time for no reason.
The reefer also had some negative effects to it. One of them was that I would become extremely lazy. I'm usually lazy but this was more than usual. Another negative side was that my memory was acting funny. I couldn't remember some things I wanted to remember. When I stopped smoking that went away thou. The last (and worst) effect was paranoia. For some reason I was paranoid that the cops would arrest me or something. I wasn't extremely paranoid but that was anoying.
When I came back to the States, it was back to real life. I didn't smoke anything for the first three weeks I was back. At that point I realized that I wasn't addicted to the drug, I didn't have that much craving for it. I got some after that and smoked it. The experience was about the same, the weed however was not the same (the grass I smoked here was **** compared to the one in Amsterdam). Anyways, it didn't have any bad side effects up to today.
Now I ask myself, why the phuck is it illegal? and why aren't more people trying it. I wanted to know if any of you guys actually smoke it. Also share experiences or give me reasons not to smoke it.
Ps. I am not a hippie or anything and I work out once in a while
