Often times your posts about the United States and it's economy are quite negative. It's almost like you want to see this country to fail.
Trust me, I'd like nothing than to glide gracefully into old age a and die in my sleep in my nineties. I would come in my pants if Trump or anybody else managed to save us from destruction, but the ONLY SOLUTIONS I hear from ANYBODY (including nobel prize winning economists) are based in wishful thinking.

Studying economics has been a hobby of mine the past several years. I've read countless books, and they are all far short on any kind of specific solution to our current problems.

I honestly believe that the ONLY SOLUTION is enough people wake up and realize how bad our situation, and stop relying on politicians or other "experts" to fix things "for us."

The labor participation rate has been falling steadily for decades. You don't change that with policy tweaks.

The velocity of money has been falling for decades. You don't fix that with policy tweaks.

Alan Greenspan recently said he hasn't felt optimistic in YEARS.

Alan Greenspan is doesn't feel good about America.

In an interview with Bloomberg TV's Tom Keene and Mike McKee on Tuesday, the former Federal Reserve chair laid out an uncertain and downbeat view of the US economy.

McKee asked if Greenspan thought that financial markets were right by signaling trouble for the economy.

"Yep," said Greenspan. "We're in trouble basically because productivity is dead in the water."
The lack of REAL JOBS in the economy is a problem that is at least fifteen years old.

Labor force participation rate PEAKED before 2000, and has been falling ever since:

The amount spent on foodstamps KEEPS GOING UP

These are trends that are DECADES LONG.

These are STRUCTURAL PROBLEMS.

All these are happening while REAL GDP GROWTH is flat.

I don't WANT our economy to fail. I really, really, really HOPE it gets better.

I just don't see how it's possible.

People who compare trump to Hitler are ridiculous. Hitler was a socialist. Very anti capitalism. Also Hitler was a failure most of his life. Trump is a successful business man.

He's not even racist. It's not racist to want to secure our borders. It's not racist to not allow Muslims in to our country until we have a method to properly vet Muslim immigrants.

I guarantee you have zero evidence that he is a racist.
Did you read the article I linked or are you just generalizing your half knowledge? I didn't mention Hitler at all, but now that you speak of him. He was anything but a socialist and he for sure had the capitalists behind him and he was charismatic, please educate yourself before teaching others. Your only true point is, that he was a failure most of his life. I'm also not saying Trump is a racist or a fascist, but he is also charismatic.

What makes me draw the line to the Weimar Republic is that your country suffers from growing discontent about the economic situation which the democratic government was not able to solve during the last decades. Now one guy steps up with charisma and bumper-sticker wisdom and many fall for him seeing him as the saviour, who will kick a$$ to the establishment. This makes me wonder, since Trump himself is the personification of the establishment. Why should he burden the taxes to rich people only? Hell, he is one of them and would shoot his own knee? Do you really think he has no personal goals to pursue? Do you really think he would give up a ton of his own money for nothing in exchange?

@taiyuu_otoko gave some precious arguments. To which I would add, that the US is dependent on global economics as well and raising prohibitive taxes on imports most likely other countries will do the same for US-exports.

You telling the US trade treaties would not benefit your country is ridiculous, do you have so such small confidence in your economic diplomats intelligence?
NAFTA
TTIP

My concern is to read the signs of time and see my chances rather than to complain about the injustice and evil. Please understand that I'm fully neutral towards your country.

As a greenhouse tomato grower, I get half the price for my tomatoes, because of NAFTA. If I want to be labelled organic, I have to be rigorously inspected and pay fees. But if I moved across the border and stamped my stuff organic, there are no inspections, and it is a violation of NAFTA for the receiving party to question the labeling of goods.

Let's look at the winner and losers in this scenario. NAFTA was supposed to be a divine commandment from the gods that helped everyone. Consumers do have cheaper tomatoes, but now there is hardly any regulation over the labeling. Plus, they come from places where there is no regulation over agricultural chemicals, and growers literally use the most poisonous stuff on Earth if they want to, probably on your "organic" tomatoes at the grocery store. Aside from being poison, they taste like sh!t, more than any of you are capable of understanding, believe me. I don't see how the consumer is really winning here, but the modern paradigm of selling anything is low quality and low prices.

Small, local farmers are obviously losers from NAFTA, which is unsurprising given that we have no Washington lobbyists. Large corporations that sell food are the big winners (surprise!). And as far as the planet itself, the environment is getting fvcked by NAFTA, too. Moving goods burns oil, which makes pollution. NAFTA subsidizes large companies to truck a tomato a thousand miles, just so they can sell it next to me, driving my prices down. It's all a vast waste of resources, designed to do nothing but make corporations profit. Wave low prices in the consumer's faces, and they will be too stupid to see anything else.

Do you think Clinton or Trump are going to change this? With the treaties being beneficial for the US was maybe a bit vague. Beneficial for who has the lobby would be more accurate. And they are selling their cheap and toxic stuff not only next to your door. Thanks to TTIP in Europe soon too. Imagine how welcome your cheap products are.

Well, it's also one of the "small steps" that the elite consolidates their power with. If you look back at the history of the EU, see who's behind it, what their real goals are, and the methods they use to get there over decades... there's more calculation than just a corporate cash grab behind these things.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Socialism is an economic and social ideology, fascism is a form of government. Yes they are not the same thing but they can exist at the same time you stupid mfer. You trying to say Hitler was NOT a socialist? yeah OKAY

Guess what Gaylan, I don't give 2 sh*ts if Trump is racist or not. I really don't care. Social justice is for fairies like yourself.

Just stop talking. People are sick of liberal crap and that's why Trump is winning.
