Rubio comes off as a war monger - even more so than McCain did back in 08. The last thing this country needs is to keep going to war and creating resentment around the world. Since our occupation of these countries, how have things been going ? Lots of people killed on both sides, and our own economy and work force none the better for it.

We need someone who is less focused on bombing other countries (I understand they all will to some degree), and more focused here domestically.

That is step one in being a leader. Margaret Thatcher was fantastic for that one reason alone.
There's a difference between being outspoken and actually being able to lead.

False. He made fun of Rick Perry wearing glasses when Perry said nothing about Trump.

So you're going to vote for Trump for all the empty promises he's making just because it sounds good to you? Typical politics. All talk and no action.

That just proves he's no better than the others who made promises and couldn't get it done.

Danger said:
The President has all of the executive power to enforce laws. Sending the illegals home is a major first step and he does not need congress at all to do it.
 Of course he needs congress to do it.

Brush up on the American Political system. Congress makes the laws that the President enforces. Presidents can't make their own laws or abolish Amendments without congressional consent. This isn't a monarchy.

Danger said:
Congress has handed so much power over to the President at this point, they could do much of what they want without any blessing at all.
Congress hasn't handed so much power over to the President. There is a document called the Consitiution. Maybe you heard of it? Ever read it before? I doubt it.

The Founding Fathers wrote that document and it's been followed since George Washington.

If he couldn't lead, he wouldn't have been so successful in his business ventures.
Business ventures is different than running a country. Also, Trump went bankrupt at least 4 times.

Danger said:
I said "typically". Pay attention.
He insulted almost every candidate. You're not paying attention.

Danger said:
How do you know they are empty promises? Prove it. Secondly, if you think the rest aren't making empty promises then you haven't learned much about politics, have you.
He needs congressional approval to get what he wants accomplished. Most in congress will not vote for what he wants. Mexico will not pay for a wall, it will come out of U.S. funds. He is giving empty promises.

Of course the rest are making empty promises just like Trump. You're gullible for buying into his empty rhetoric.

Danger said:
Your claim is not proven until he gets elected. All that is proven so far is he is the only one with balls to talk about the real issues. The biggest being illegals invading the country.

Well, he isn't going to get elected so don't worry about it. So, he's talking issues. What he wants to do will never happen. Empty promises that people like you are buying into.

Danger said:
If you think he needs congress to enforce existing laws than you have no clue how the Executive branch operates. Go read a book and come back when you have some information son.
I already told you to go read the Constitution since you have no idea how our country works. Congress has to vote to change the 14th Amendement. Trump can't snap his fingers changing what he wants on his own. When Congress fails to change the 14th Amendement, Trump's words becomes empty promises.

Danger said:
Awwww, getting into blatant insults now?
No. You have no idea about the Constitution, so I thought you should read it to learn what it's about.

Danger said:
You do know the Executive can suspend Habeas Corpus, drone US citizens and go to war without congressional approval or court approvals? Go read a book and learn something.
Changing the 14th Amendment requires Congressional approval. Start reading.

Trump basically called Gov. Rick Perry an idiot who needs glasses to look smarter. Trump's insults sunk Perry's campaign who was actually a great Governor who has intelligence. He is insulting each candidate making fun of them because he has nothing else to say.

I'm not hating on the man, just pointing out the facts. Trump went bankrupt and made bad business moves. Trump is making empty promises and will never be elected by Republicans as President.

I think Trump is a smart enough man not to lie about something like that that there would be a public record on.. But I could be wrong...

Fiorina is catching up to Trump in the polls. This is scaring me. I'm serious if we get a woman President, we are screwed. The first and most noticeable damage will start the second it gets down to the two female candidates and nobody else. Women all over the country will go on massive head expansion. They will all act as if each individual one of them is better than each individual man. We think we have seen bad stuff now. If we get a woman in the Whitehouse, I would seriously call it the beginning of the end of the world for America. I've actually looked at a few jobs outside of the USA that I would only consider if it gets to the point of Hillary vs Florina. I will leave.

True, their sense of entitlement will only get bigger, just like the gimmie dat faction of black America when Obummer got elected. Feminist crap will take place daily and the president will look the other way, but it will be war on men for each and every crime committed against women.

Yes, see Trump hasn't filed personal bankruptcy, such as a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13.

- Ch. 7 BK is when an individual or company is pretty much going bankrupt by selling off their assets and liquidating everything. A company filing here is going to be pretty much "gone" when it's all said and done.

- Ch. 13 BK is when an individual would be looking at doing some type of re-organization.

- Ch. 11 BK is a re-organization for a company where the company is looking to restructure itself to help it pay for its debts, obligations, etc. going forward so that it can continue to stay in business. It's not a liquidation, so once this is all set and done the company will still be around but be leaner/meaner. This is why when Trump says, "I have used the bankruptcy code just as everybody else has for various business advantages," he's referring to the re-organization advantages.

He's done a Ch. 11 BK on companies that he has owned a couple of times, here's more information covering the actual filings:

That was the initial problem for him to run in the first place. Those stories came out the last time he considered running. Many people said he wouldn't run for that reason.

Then I'm just like Donald Trump, you should like that.

I told you to read the Constitution so you know what it's about. You think that's an insult? I strongly suggest you toughen up like a man because you're going to hear a lot worse from people you encounter in your daily life.

Danger said:
Moreover, I see you have dodged the topic of Executive powers and how the President has much more powers than he used too, including droning US citizens, suspension of habeas corpus and taking us to war.
What does that have to do with needing congressional approval to change amendments or writing news laws? A President's power is limited when he needs congress to approve laws and to change Amendments to the Constitution.

I suggest you sign up for a fall college History course so you can learn about our political system.

Danger said:
Given that you're invoking the 14th amendment, you are likely referring only to anchor babies. So you concede that Trump DOES have the power to remove the non-anchor illegals?

Once you concede that, we can move on to why you are wrong about anchor babies and the 14th amendment.
Then you can remove Marco Rubio because he is an anchor baby. His parents were not legal citizens when he was born.

I'm not wrong about anything. You need Congressional approval to change any Amendments to the Constitution. Clearly you don't know that.

Danger said:
We're used to empty promises and c0ckless officials who won't even dare talk about certain issues. Trump has the balls to talk about them, and we KNOW the others won't address them. Even a small chance of success is better than none.
Trump is just the same as the others, talking about the issues to get votes from gullible people like you who think it's gonna happen. Nothing new about that.

Danger said:
And you're gullible for buying into the others empty rhetoric. And again, prove it's empty.
I'm not buying into the empty rhetoric of Trump and the others. You're gullible to think Trump will be elected President with his empty promises.

Danger said:
But leadership has the same qualities, whether in business or running a country.

Shows the weakness of your argument that you keep trying to change the topic though.
Running a business is not the same as running country. If you think it's the same you are totally ignorant.

Change the topic? Where? I said Trump is a joke who will never get elected making empty promises from my first post. I was on point from the start.

Danger said:
So what? I said typically he does it in response to being attacked. Now you migrate the goal-posts again because you are losing.

Lost what? Trump insulted candidates before they have said anything about him. He even insulted a war hero like John McCain basically calling him a pvssy for being a P.O.W. when Trump didn't even serve our country. Can't get anymore low than that attacking our war veterans like they are nothing.

Trump can only insult to ruin a candidates credibility because he has nothing else credible to say except for insults and his empty rhetoric that you are buying into.

Danger said:
  • Given the groundswell of approval I think he would get that support.
  • Mexico would have no choice unless they want their manufacturing base destroyed.
  • He doesn't need Congressional approval to evict the illegals.
Don't worry about it because Trump will never be elected President. I suggest you look for a serious candidate that can actually win an election.

**** Trump Mcafee for President!

https://mcafee16.com/issues/

McAfee on the Issues
Foreign Policy:

We are not a police agency for the world. Our foreign involvements must be reigned in, and attention should be placed on looking at our own issues. While domestic policy will be the major focus of a McAfee administration, we will employ a foreign policy that augments our domestic policy.

First and foremost, we are to pursue our interests. This is the number one goal of a McAfee foreign policy. We reject the interventionist pursuit of idealistic and moral goals. Rather, we will focus on exerting out influence when and where it serves our national interests. Nothing more, nothing less. Nixon, in addressing congress in his first annual report on Foreign Policy states our goals quite clearly:

Our objective, in the first instance, is to support our interests over the long run with a sound foreign policy. The more that policy is based on a realistic view of our and others’ interests, the more effective our role in the world can be. We are not involved in the world because we have commitments; we have commitments because we are involved. Our interests must shape our commitments, rather than the other way around.

War on Drugs

Reduced criminalization. Mere possession of any chemical substance intended for self administration should be at most a misdemeanor.

One of the first acts of a McAfee Administration would be the wholesale decriminalization of marijuana – by changing it from a schedule one drug to either a schedule 4 or 5 drug, something that can be done without congressional consent – along with pardons to any individual serving time for non-violent marijuana possession without any attempt to distribute.

While Marijuana would be decriminalized on the federal level, it will be left up to the states to decide whether to completely legalize and/or make the sale of the drug legal.

Production of drugs in any other country is the concern of that country, even if America is the intended recipient.
Immigration

Tightening borders does nothing to increase National Security. Terrorists will enter the country no matter how much we attempt to secure our borders. The key to reducing terrorism is reducing our interference in the affairs of other nations.

Our borders should be opened, and the money now spent on patrolling them should be spent on creating a documentation process and an education system for immigrants.

Ultimately, a McAfee Administration would be one that looks to make immigration a much easier process. While we will have more specifics in the coming days, immigration should be seen as an asset, rather than xenophobic, rally around the flag issue. There are millions of people who want to immigrate to the US, most of which want to do so legally. That said, there are so many barriers in the way of legal immigration that it often makes more sense to immigrate illegally.

Do not misunderstand here, we will not rubber stamp every immigration form that comes in. The process will be a more streamlined, but there will still be many conditions that must be met.
Taxation

Our tax codes are unwieldy and expensive to manage. A simpler system must be found

Again, we will have more details in the coming days, but there are a few major components of a McAfee tax code that we can share. Firstly, we see it as unacceptable that many of the world’s largest corporations pay little to no taxes. The system, as it exists today, favors the ultra-rich. Why should someone living at or under the poverty line be taxed at a higher rate than a multi-billion dollar corporation?

Tax exemptions and credits were created to offer benefits to corporations that create U.S. Jobs, and bolster the U.S. economy. We will look to return that arrangement. Corporations that move jobs to China or Mexico, or anywhere outside of the U.S. will no longer receive preferential treatment. Rather these corporations will pay a much higher rate than those who operate and create jobs within the U.S. We will have to get creative, and look at these corporations on a case-by-case basis.

Further, at the same time, we will work to drastically simplify the code. It is our view that the federal tax code should be simple enough for even the layman to understand.

Let's focus on one item at a time Mayall, since you clearly like to dance subjects to avoid all of the places you are wrong. Let's start with the removing of illegals.

I haven't been wrong about anything, you have. I see you still haven't taken those reading comprehension courses.

Danger said:
I have bolded the major points above, where I said Trump does NOT need congress to enforce the existing laws and send the illegals home, and you said "of course he needs congress to do it".
You can't comprehend anything I said. To remove legal American citizens born to illegal aliens, you need Congress to change the Amendment. The President can't force those people to leave without a new law that says so.

To have a massive deportation program, Congress needs to vote to approve the funds for that to happen. That costs money to undertake a huge program.

Since 2009, the U.S. has deported over 2 million illegals, the most in recent time done by the President.

Danger said:
This is blatantly wrong, otherwise ICE would not even exist. Now you are talking about changes to the constitution, which are not required to evict illegals. Your invocation of the 14th amendment suggests that you have narrowed your position down to just anchor babies (retreated from your first post that he needs congress to evict illegals).

So, either you have retreated from your original point, or you are full of $hit and do not know that the President can evict illegals without congress.

Which is it?
You're full of sh!t, you don't know anything about our political system and can't comprehend simple English. Illegals are already being evicted by the millions, which is authorized by the President. If you want to evict anchor babies, like Trump wants to, you need to make changes to the Constitution through Congress. That will never happen in a million years. Take those reading comprehension courses so you can understand what a person writes in the forum.

Uh oh, someone is getting mad!!! :box: :box: :box:

This below is the discussion, where you said he needs congress to evict the illegals. You are clearly wrong. The law and the ICE department already exist to do so. Congress is not needed to approve it.

You can cry and whine and pout and stomp your feet and work feverishly to change the subject, but these are your words clear as day. You don't know $hit about how anything works in this country, you just hate Trump and are throwing a $hitfit at the support he is getting.

Not this sh!t again, you did this the last time you lost the argument about Trump and women using force against men making an ass out of yourself.

You can't comprehend English and I bet the illegals can read better than you. You're whining and throwing a fit because you look like an idiot the forum not knowing anything about our political system.

Congress approves all the funds for any program the President wants. Congress has to vote to change Amendments to the Consitiution. A President can't do that on his own, he needs to go through Congress. You don't know anything about that.

Support from mindless idiots who are gullible to buy into the empty promises he's giving. I suggest you support a serious candidate who can actually win, or otherwise we are going to get stuck with Clinton promoting her feminist agenda.

Danger said:
Here we go with the made-up lies and changing subjects!

Boxer is that you? Pena? Probably Pena since that is Spanish and obviously you hate the idea of deportations of illegal immigrants.

You said the President needs congress to evict the illegal immigrants, he does not. The President controls ICE who has the power to send the illegal immigrants back home. Trump can send them all out.

But yes, change the subject, call names, do everything you can to dodge it sweetheart, but you are proven wrong and so very angry at Trump.

Our Consitutional scholar has no idea that it takes money and resources approved by congress to fund a major deportation program. Go take a college history course and learn how our country works.

Except Trump is alienating a huge voting block needed for a GOP victory -- Latinos. Obama did not alienate any voters that would be a core for his party's victory.

And let's not forget the birther drama starting up again that will turn independents away from the party. Trump dropped 8 points in the first poll since last week's debate for more reasons than Fiorina rising.

Funny thing is that if Ben Carson somehow wins the Presidency, he will be the first REAL Black President as Barack Obama is indeed biracial and not Black, even though he's referred to as Black for some strange reason.

Alienated?!?? You must be joking. His comments on illegal immigrants is what catapulted him in the polls to begin with.
Yeah, amongst a white conservative base. Of course he will jump ahead in early GOP polls. Heck, Scott Walker was leading the pack some time ago, and now look at him. Trump's behavior wont win a general election.

His favorability numbers are terrible with Latinos right now. The GOP needs 40% of the Latino vote to win the White House. In other words, they need George W Bush numbers. And Latinos found Bush Jr a lot more likable than Trump is. Bush's immigration stance had much to do with his numbers.

But whatever, believe what you want. If the GOP nominates Trump, they can say good bye to gaining a large swath of the minority vote. People said I was wrong when I said minorities wouldn't go for Romney. And his "47%" comments lost him some independents as well.

Its strange people think Trump can win the White House with his comments about undocumented immigrants, Mexico, and the birther nonsense floating around. His opponents cannot wait to skewer him in some ads if he gets the nomination.

Anyways, believe what you want. We can revisit this next November.
