Sup DJ's
Yesterday I got into the weirdest conversation ever. I just wanted to get some feedback from you guys as to what you think. The convo was between me and a Pivot of mine. She's a girl I used to like, but never really wanted to be with..so she and I got out a lot to pick up women and men for each other(classic times btw). Anyway, we discussing relationships and heartbreak. She was making the point that men are all manipulative liars that just want to have sex with women and leave them (the hinted diss was directed toward me) and the men should stop being such liars about their intentions, because they break womens hearts. She went on to give me examples of her friends that thought they were dating good guys only for the guy to turn out to not share the same feelings.
I countered with a bunch of things from the guy perspective:
1) Guys on par have been hurt FAR worse than women have in relationships. When guys get used its not just for sex its for money and other things...I can name at least 8 of my good friends that were in 4-5 year relationships before they realized that they were being used by the women...men may be liars but women are gold diggers. I followed with the story about my best friend who dated a girl for 5 years. She didn't want to have sex until they were married and he honored that(AFC). While he was on a business trip she cheated on him..and got pregnant. He comes back and has to find out from the girls dad who was insisting that he should marry his daughter because he thought the baby was his. Well he confront the girl and she says she's been sleeping with another guy for like 3 years (3 cheers for honesty). THATS JACKED UP..
2) For a man to just state his intentions with a women would leave a very lonely horny guy at the end of day. Women enjoy the forplay of 'whats to come' Guy's aren't lying, they are disguising their intentions. Turning the tides so to speak. Women traditionally are wanted by men...for men to be able to flip the script is all the more impowering.
3) Most importantly, LIES. Men are not anywhere NEAR the caliber of liars that women are. Women are the visual lie, from the fake hair, to the fake nails, to the push bra, makeup, high heels, stockings, and eye lashes...its ALL a lie. Why???? because they know what attracts men and they accentuate it. Why is it wrong for men to accentuate what attracts women? I asked her what was most important in a man that she liked, and she replied "personality." I replied "My point exactly..."
Immediately afterwards we meet up with some of her female friends and they just wail on me for hours over dinner about this whole thing. I just sat their with a smug look and let them talk till their faces turned red. What do you guys think? Does being a DJ come off as being dishonest to you? Do you think honest is truthfully that important if you're just going through the "dating" phase? Is DJ'ing as manipulative as women accentuating their beauty? Is that really wrong? What do you guys think of everything I felt like I handled the situation pretty good but for some reason women can't seem to understand.
