Man of Steel, worst movie of 2013?

So I'm listening to the local radio the other day and they were reviewing the worst movies of 2013. They hand the reviewing over to some woman, who I now believe is a feminazi. Among her list of "worst movies of 2013" was "Man of Steel". I then picked up the movie out of curiosity and it's a damned good movie from beginning to end. It might not be the best movie ever, but worst movie of 2013? Give me a break.

A white man saving the world must be a horror show to the feminazis, so she had to throw it in the list. Worse movie of 2013 really? I am going to file a complaint.

I don't even like Superman yet thought Man Of Steel was one of the best superhero movies ever. Maybe she was a Christian and got pissed over all the Superman=Jesus imagery..

I thought it was rather poor of script. But it was a good set up for Justice League. Which a lot of people would like made but there is not the right amount of actors to fill up the role. If it does get made be prepared for Ben Affleck.

I'm curious to see Batman vs. Superman though.
You have to think most people will be rooting for Batman to put him in its place. Not only has Batman had better movies, but he has the underdog thing going for him.

Superman is unrealistic in that he has the powers of like 10000 men rolled into one, with only one weakness which he can even overcome. Batman is also unrealistic because it makes it seem like his smarts and preparation can somehow defeat aliens, gods, unrealistically smart enemies who have been perfecting their plan for decades or centuries.

Of course I don't mind, because superheroes are supposed to be caricatures of men. But when I hear Batman fanboys cheer him on and then talk about how Supes is so unrealistic I laugh. Batman is the same thing, but in the opposite direction. That's why you always get Superman and Batman crossover movies, they are the foils of each other.

Any version actually. Its usually a glass cannon fight though.

Like Doctor Strange(I know he's marvel) can easily beat superman if superman doesn't detect him. If he can get off one spell superman is done, but if strange is seen then Superman's speed will win the fight.

The only thing that disappointed me in the movie is where is the green rock... where the hell is the kryptonite?? How could they just forget about the kryptonite.

Also how could Batman ever beat Superman? Batman doesn't have super strength, he would get killed.

I personally loved Superman movie from this year. Far superior to the other superman movies that I have seen.

Probably the best action scenes of any super hero movie, while the script wasn't perfect. I thought it was better then average.

Is it true that there was no kryptonite in Man of Steel (I really don't remember - forgettable movie)? If so, maybe they will have Batman be the guy to figure out his weakness in the next one.

That was one thing I liked about it. Screenwriters always seem to go back to Kryptonite because it's the one thing that weakens Superman. It gets a little old. Anyway in MoS it was unnecessary because Zod et.al. shared the same powers and weaknesses. Unfortunately it just became another rock em sock em destroy NYC (Metropolis) fight at the end. I think superhero movies have peaked creatively but as long as they keep making money....

Not sure how familiar you guys are with the old comics, but I always felt that the best villain for a Superman movie would be the Parasite. As the name implies he siphons powers and energy from other organisms including Superman. He was also kind of scary-looking.

Im surprised Pacific Rim didnt get more of a backlash dude. How dare they portray an Asian woman under the command of a White male and end in romance!!! She doesn't at any time try to ursurp command or 'prove herself'. So far Pacific Rim is my movie of the year.
