What I've never understood is why people who don't like or love themselves expect to be liked and loved by others.

It just doesn't work that way, you have to love yourself before someone else will. People who are constantly putting themselves down, constantly whinging are seen as depressing people to be around and people will generally gravitate away from people with such a poor attitude and weak mentality.

I expect this type of talk from a woman, not a man. Us men can't get our pecs inlarged through surgery, we can't walk around with hair extensions or foundation like women. We have to make use with what we were born with and while we can't change everything there are things we can change.

What the OP needs is simple. He needs more hobbies, he needs to improve his self image which will improve his self esteem and he needs to realise that we all have our faults, but we shouldn't spend our entire lives focusing on them. We should focus on selling our good points to people.
