far out, the last few weeks havent been good. I havent been getting time to go to the gym n I am just struggling to keep my weight were it is. I am 5.7", 140lbs. My main problem is eating. I have noticed that I am starting to eat less. Like say even if the food tasted really good n If I am not very hungry I wont eat much. Even if I force myself i just cant get the food to go through and I know I wont be full. Then i feel like spewing the food if i force myself. I dont know if this is due to me completely putting a stop to all cardio (soccer)? This has been going on for couple of months now since the time I started going easy on soccer. I have just got a couple of months to go before summer time n gotta put more weight on I dunno if I should start playing soccer or what? But I hardly feel hungry anymore, n how much water should I be drinking daily, does this help with the gain as well?

I've been having the same problem. The only thing that works for me is eating early in the day. Eating early gets your metabolism started. I eat about every 2 or 3 hours, thus stretching my stomach. At the end of the day I have normally eaten about 6 or 7 meals. Look at the bulking guide at the top of this section for help on what to eat.

At the beginning of the year I didn't want to eat breakfast in the morning, I'd feel sick if I did and it was hard to get down. However, I forced myself to eat as much of a full breakfast as I could and eventually I started to get more energy and didn't feel sick at all, just hungry. Also, try to eat more often during the day. Just grab an extra sandwhich or something halfway between meals, even if you're not starving.

The key is to eat even when your not hungry. If you cant stomach anything, eat a piece of fruit, then 20 mins later you will feel like something to eat. Just eat... hungry or not.. small amounts regularly. I dont know why you are losing weight so quick.. when you were training, were you taking any Gear or Supplements?

How old are you and what's your body type and i'll work out your base metabolic rate?

The more times you eat during the day, the faster your metabolism is, so if your not eating loads of calories, your going to lose weight.
If you eat bigger portions less times a day you will slow it down, and might even start putting on weight, but it's going to be fat!
Also the more water you drink, the more fat you lose!

I suggest you become more aware of your eating habits, eat 5 times a day to continue burning fat, make sure you eat lots of protein to make sure you body doesn't start burning up mucsle for amino acids.

If your goin too the gym too do weights and your aim is too put on muscle and or gain strength you won't if you don't eat enough,..your muscles will be the first things burning away not your fat! ... so start eating more, or u may aswell not bother working out.

drink more water. drink about a gallon every day (4.5 litres). now, i know you can do this. i do this everyday, but it takes effort.

when you drink this much water, nutrients in your food is absorbed into the bloodstream and transported round the body quicker. so you become hungry again.

give it a shot

I used to be able to eat ****loads, but I got sick for a day, couldnt eat, and lost my ability to eat forever. I think its because my stomach shrunk after a good 36ish hours without eating anything.

Now, I find that I can eat little bits over the day instead of 3 big meals. Its more healthy to do this too, since if you take in too many vitamins in one meal, your body simply rejects the vitamins it doesnt need, but if you eat little bits it takes in more since it is over time, and not at once.

here is your calorie expenditure if your not doing any exercises or very little:

Calories - 2310
With an mesomorph body type at a body weight of 140 pounds and a "Slightly Active" activity level, your total daily caloric intake should be 2310 calories.

Protein: 294.52 grams
Of these 2310 calories 1178.1 should come strictly from protein. That equals 294.52 grams of protein per day.

Carbohydrates: 207.9 grams
The calories derived strictly from carbohydrates each day should total 831.6 calories. This means your total carbohydrate intake per day in grams should be 207.9.

Fat: 33.37 grams
Fat intake should always be kept to a minimum. Out of the 2310 calories you consume a day only 300.3 or less should come from fat. That's a total of 33.37 or less grams of fat per day.
GOOD FATS!!!
Like olive oil, fish oil etc

This will keep your fat off and actually get you more ripped and if you do a little weight training or resistance training, you'll put on some muscle too Ü

Good luck
