From what I've heard, chest exercizes will build muscle but not target that area to burn the fat there, and your breasts will actually get larger with the same fat over the larger muscle. Dieting / eating well will help lose the body fat and thus better help to reduce the fat on your chest.

Mr. Ruckus,

Lettuce does not clog up the digestive system.

Buck Rogers already explained it directly following pvf's question "what does that do?" and he was dead on.

Chest activity = cardio. Low intensity, every morning, and as many evenings as possible.

Type of diet = no sh1t food. Just meat, cheese, whey, fruits, vegetables, nuts, plant & fish fats. Grains or potatoes after your workout. Graze throughout the day, don't binge.

This is all you need to know.

As gets said everywhere else on this forum -- there is no such thing as spot reduction of fat. If there's more fat than you want on your chest, you have to reduce your overall bodyfat. As RedPill says, that comes down primarily to diet and cardio. Chest exercises can build you beautiful pecs -- that will still be hidden under a layer of fat unless you reduce your overall bodyfat.

Oils 'make male breasts develop'

1Feb07

Using lavender and tea tree oil products can cause young boys to develop breast tissue, a study finds.

Gynaecomastia is rare, and there is often no obvious cause.

But US specialists report in the New England Journal of Medicine that three boys developed the condition after using the oils.

The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) team say doctors who see boys should ask about their use of such products.

Oils 'mimicked hormones'

Clifford Bloch, a child hormone specialist at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Science Center's School of Medicine started to suspect the link after seeing the three boys.

The first, aged four, had been experiencing symptoms for two to three weeks.

His mother said she had recently begun applying a "healing balm" containing lavender oil to his skin.

The second boy, who was 10, had been developing enlarged breast tissue over the previous five months.

When questioned, it emerged that he was using a shampoo and hair gel containing lavender oil and tea tree oil every morning.

The third boy, aged seven, had a one-month history of gynaecomastia.

He had been using lavender-scented soaps and skin lotions. His twin used the soap, but not the lotions, and had not developed the condition.

Each of the boys stopped using the relevant products, and several months later the tissue growth was found to have subsided.

The team at the NIEHS carried out tests on human cells and found pure lavender and tea tree oils could mimic the actions of female hormones and inhibit the effects of male hormones, and therefore disrupt the endocrine system in the body.

'Reconsider' product use

Dr Bloch said: "Since there was no identifiable cause for prepubertal gynaecomastia in the three patients we reported, we speculated that environmental factors might be contributing to their condition.

"Together, the case histories and NIEHS studies provide support for our hypothesis that topical exposure to lavender and tea tree oils likely caused gynaecomastia in the three patients."

It is not known whether the oils could have similar effects on the endocrine systems of young girls, teenagers or adults.

But Dr Derek Hanley, who led the NIEHS research said the oils did not appear to alter the levels of the usual forms of hormones circulating in the boys' bodies.

And he said: "We do not anticipate any long term effects on hormonal levels."

Dr Ken Korach, who also worked on the study, said: "We want to encourage doctors who may be seeing patients with gynaecomastia to ask their patients about the products they are using.

"Patients with prepubertal gynaecomastia may want to consider reducing the use of products that contain these oils."

Professor Ieuan Hughes, a child hormone specialist at the University of Cambridge, said: "The scientists have shown a convincing effect, albeit on cell lines; that these oils can mimic oestrogens and act as anti-androgens [male hormones]."

He said: "We don't really understand gynaecomastia, but the consensus is that it's related to a hormone imbalance."

Professor Hughes said hormone levels in prepubescent boys were particularly sensitive to changes.

He added: "The next step is to see how widespread this problem is.

"As the researchers say, it is important to say people should be a little bit careful about using these products until we know more."

skip if you can't go to the gym. fvck use an extension cord if u don't wanna buy a rope.

Make a boxing bag

I recommend doing sit ups/leg raisers, push ups(close, wide, handstand), bodyweight squats, lungers, dips(in between to chairs) and chin ups as well.

Building muesli will make you burn fat when you sleep.

I sounds like your a lazy a$$. Fix your diet, this is so easy! it doesn't take effort. I really do not understand in the slightest why people eat bad food. Are you really having fun eating sh!t?

Would this be just as good/better/worse than jogging or running?

ur all retarded shut up

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

PUSH UPS

You may associate these with sadistic gym teachers and military punishments, but it's time to expel that image from your mind. For a bodybuilder with no equipment, press-ups are his best friend! The secret to building mass with press ups is to do them slowly with low reps. Sure you can do sets of 200 press ups, but with that many reps you are just building muscle endurance. That's no bad thing but you won't get much bigger. I recommend doing these before any other arm work because I find that if I train my arms first, they tend to burn out before my chest. You should also try to vary the position of your hands from shoulder width apart to even wider apart and try putting your feet on a chair or a bed if you have one available to ensure that you hit your chest from every possible angle. An example chest workout would be:

* Medium grip press ups - 3 sets
* Wide grip press ups - 3 sets
* Medium grip press ups (legs raised) - 2 sets
* Wide grip press ups (legs raised) - 2 sets

Wikipedia Quote:

Jumping rope is an activity not only suited for competition or recreation, but also for a cardiovascular workout, similar to jogging or bicycle riding. This aerobic exercise can achieve a "burn rate" of up to 1300 calories per hour of vigorous activity, with about 0.1 calories consumed per jump. Ten minutes of jumping rope is roughly the equivalent of running an eight-minute mile. Jumping rope can avoid the knee damage which may occur during running, since the impact of each jump or step is absorbed by both legs. Jumping rope also helps strengthen the arms and shoulders. This combination of an aerobic workout and coordination-building footwork have made jumping rope a popular form of exercise for athletes, especially boxers and wrestlers. Individuals or groups can participate in the exercise, and learning proper jump rope technique is relatively simple compared to many other athletic activities. The exercise is also appropriate for a wide range of ages and fitness levels.

He is'nt going to do anything anyway.

Scientists have discovered a cause in little boys growing manboobs.
The lavender and tea tree oils found in some soaps, shampoos, hair gels and body lotions can produce enlarged breasts in boys, researchers reported on Wednesday.

In laboratory tests, scientists at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences in North Carolina found that both substances can mimic the action of the female hormone estrogen and block male hormones that control both masculine characteristics and inhibit the growth of breast tissue.
Other causes include letting your kid eat too much cake.

Fortunately, young boys who suffer from lavender boobs can reverse the effects by using products that don't include the lavender oil and tea oils. Unfortunately, this is complicated by the fact that lavender has become a popular ingredient in many products due healing aspects touted by alternative medicine folks.
"This report raises an issue of concern, since lavender oil and tea tree oil are sold over the counter in their 'pure' form and are present in an increasing number of commercial products, including shampoos, hair gels, soaps, and body lotions," the researchers wrote.
Little girls looking for a boost in the chest department might find similar properties, but results are unknown, because scientists restricted their study to man-boobs.
"Whether the oils elicit similar endocrine-disrupting effects in prepubertal girls, adolescent girls, or women is unknown."

Well...you are doing NOTHING other than running. Wouldn't you think that adding some kind of weight lifting (even if it is body weight) would help?
