Man Boobs

I got boobs that are a little fat looking, not huge but they are noticable. And I think it has to be extremely un-attractice, and if I lose them I know my confidence will soar..

Currently all I do is run 2 miles 5 times a week. I started out not being able to run even a 1/4 of a mile to running 1 a day, than 2 a day and im pushing for 3. I dont really have access to a gym, I simply put on some running shoes and I figured out the distance from a certain street to another, using a car ofcourse. I started this 2 month's ago and I used to weight 215 pounds, now I weigh 204. Im horrible at figuring out how to lose body fat. Any tips?

The running is showing gradual results, but I would like to learn how to tone out my chest, I dont have access to a gym though.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Run a steady jog, not at a strenuous pace, for 45 minutes. Don't focus on the distance you run, just focus on the length of time for which you are running.

Diet will play a bigger role than exercise for you. You don't need to be on a zone style diet to lose weight, you just need to know what to cut out, cut back on, and what to load up on.

Don't eat pasta's or breads after 5 PM is a quick tip I picked up from a personal fitness instructor who had been bodybuilding for 17 years and hadn't missed a single workout in that time.

Losing 5 lbs per month is a very respectable amount. This is especially considering that your legs have undoubtedly become stronger as a result of all of the running, thereby increasing your lower body and core strength, thereby increasing muscle mass, thereby increasing weight due to muscle. This means that you've probably lost more fat than 11 lbs, but you gained muscle in the process (which is certainly a good thing).

Also, if you step up to 45 minute-runs, don't do them 5 times per week. Just do them 3 times per week. I'm surprised that you haven't run into any knee or joint problems running 2 miles 5 days per week for 2 months.

I'd go to any large bookstore and check out the exercise and fitness section. Those books are pretty hardcore, but incorporating just HALF of what they suggest into your lifestyle may have a HUGE impact on your weight and overall health.

I had shin splints and took a 10 day break do to vacation, and now im fine. 45 minutes, I dont think I can do that.....literally id run over 5 miles

How fat are you? your runing ten miles a week and you still have man boobs? what is your diet like?

My diet, well...its not the best


Breakfast: Bagel w/c heese....or a small bowel of instand oatmeal...something like that usually, and a glass of milk.

Lunch: School lunch consists of either chicken product or beef, and its most likely processed. Average of 400 calories per meal, maybe less maybe more pending on the meal.

Dinner: Home made hamburger on the "george forman" grill thingy. lmao, ummm sometimes I eat hot dogs, kolbosa, fries, Spaghetti, pizza.......it varies between stuff like that. I know its not the best, but I cant be picky when Im broke and my family feeds me for free =P

Not a horrible diet I dont think, I can adjust if it is absolutely necessary, I have noticed a decline in my chest fat wise, it just seems like it is taking way to long. There must be a way to tone that area out or something, I dunno....weird.:woo:

Word, I know its not good....but compared to what it used to be omfg, it should be considered lovely. haha, I know its bad. help me !

If you're working with cafeteria food, then you might want to make each lunch like this:

Before eating ANYTHING that you've got, drink a full glass of water. Then eat a salad. THEN you can eat more food.

I had a roomate who went from 285 to 215 without working out at all in under 6 months (that's about 10-12 lbs per month). All he did was change his diet like that for lunch and dinner.

He was a lazy piece of **** and he lost 10 lbs per month, and if you're working out a lot this might seriously increase your gains. Be cautious though.... if you're training hard and you decrease your caloric intake too much, you could run into problems.

It seems like you are losing weight, and you're seeing athletic gains. What more could you ask for in 2 months?

Water supresses the appetite, makes skin clearer and speees up metabolism. The salad, i guess is because its presumably healthy and once youve eaten you wont want to eat much more.

Dude, do you drink a lot? You diet inst that bad, how long have you been doing the runs for?

Dont drink at all, and I have been doing the running for about 2 month's. Only been doing 2 mile runs for a month because it took a while to break free from 1 mile. I can't do it as consistent now though because of the cold season, im not sure what to wear when I run in the cold weather. Im trying to keep it up but its hard lately, what would a good running regime be? Ive just stuck to about 10 miles a week. And my diet, I suppose I could just cut back on some calories. Wonder if there is a way to continue to drop weight without all the running.....I would love to keep running because seeing improvement has amazed me so far, but It is coming to be too cold to do it without proper knowledge...

its very hard to do proper cardio in winter.

Cardio is gonna be hard to obtain over winter :(

If you can't grab a handful, you don't have man boobs. You just have flab.

Why do you want to clog up your digestive system and block the protein by putting a bunch of worthless lettuce in the way?

Protein first...
