I want to know who came up with the idea that the best way to wake people from the "matrix" is to post s#it like this on public internet forums full of chicks and AFC guys. What exactly is this supposed to accomplish??!?!
There is a phenomenon that occurs when someone's faith is directly challenged or tested. Instead of giving up or doubting their faith, a faithful person will usually grow even MORE confident in their faith. The same applies here. When someone posts these "truths" in a public forum and refers to women (meryl streep, no less) as "slvts," it just confirms to the rest of the posters on there that this newcomers' posts should not be taken seriously. Furthermore, it's a freakin' MOVIE...who cares??! why should a cheeseball movie be responsible for shaping society?
You CAN NOT "unplug" anyone--they have to do it themselves. They will naturally seek out this and other sites when this happens.
Everyone here should STOP posting sosuave stuff on public forums, youtube, etc. Nobody will understand it unless they're already on our side, and when it's taken out of context and worded as eloquently as the IMDB poster did, it makes up all look like bitter, whiny losers.
