As the title indicates, I am curious about this specific dynamic. You'll be hard pressed to find information about this .

Men want sex, women want relationships. That's the rhetoric. Maybe in this thread we can deep dive why this is the way it is.

For example, a man who has a dry spell will be judge by fellow men, whereas women among each other are more forgiving.

Edit OP : another example that comes to mind in the current dating environment is OLD. Commen sense says both genders will equally use, maybe even need it. In reality we see some dating apps is 70% men .

This is an excellent and very very relevant topic. I was thinking to bring something similar up too.

Women understand the game at a higher level than men. Women these days REALLY do help each other out or atleast are very diplomatic and politically considerate of other women.

It's like women are primarily playing the game as a collective ie they play women against men, but men play the game men vs men.

Now, this is something that I have vaguely noticed but I am not sure. Back in the day, maybe 20years ago, it felt that women were alot more critical of each other, more bitchiness and such, and many more women were victims in dating ie pump and dump, hurt feelings, broken promises etc.

It seems like when we were in traditional monogamy, there was some kind of equilibrium. But once we entered the era of dating and relationships, women were the first to suffer, slut-shaming, breakups, lies, broken promises etc etc so I think up until the 90s it was really women that were the victims and maybe they suffered more, this may have also been a time when women were more bitchy with each other.

But over time, I believe, from the 90s to now, women have developed another level of solidarity with each other. Women, it seems, they know that to win the game they need to play collectively, that is be nice and positive to each other in general, gf over bf.

A woman would pick her gf over her bf more often than not. A man would never do that.

Women are on average less stupid about dating. I think this may be because men's dating strategy (that works) is looked down opun by society. Women like to have casual s*x also, they are just very fussy about whom they have it with. Also, girls purposefully take a long time to text back as part of the game. I think for a woman to seem desperate is looked down opun more as a man seeming desperate. Girls are also less prone to take up autistic pastimes like video games and anime.

Girls are also by nature more insecure and prone to simping out than men - you have to give them the chance to do this by letting them occasionally doubt whether you want them or not. Right now I have a girl who I have been lagging on making plans with liking all my posts on social media. I am honestly considering not texting her back.

Dating apps are 99% men and the women on there are mostly either butt ugly or instagram attention whoares.

Women start playing the game in middle school and are constantly trying to maintain high value in appearance with makeup, clothes, nails, etc from day one, and have a huge support group. By the time a girl is 18, she’s already experienced dealing with players and such.

Most men start out with a porn addiction/red pill addiction/video game addiction, no idea on how to improve their looks, and no money right at age 18. Some men are able to make it on to dating, but he will still have to either learn how to deal with different types of women or lose to the first one that gives him a ******* lol.
