Don Juan
Through self-experience and testing I've determined that you don't need to follow the DJ handbook exactly. Sticking to the basics will usually do the trick. I know that you guys have posted tons of _useful_ information and some DJs in training think they need to know every peice of information, or else they will end up failing miserably. This thread is just here to tell all those DJs that not everything is for you and isn't meant to be used in every situation. Don't worry about making mistakes and getting rejected, every young DJ needs to be rejected atleast once. It's just like a teenager driving a car. They need to wreck a peice of crap car first before they can even think of moving on to buy a nice car. Maybe that wasn't such a great metaphor? ;D
