Right fellow DJ's, PUA's, Ladies men, or whatever you like to think of yourself as:

Is your game coming together?

Trying to think of which areas you have still to improve?

Are you ignoring something because of the hastle involved?

Well either you work out already or you are reading this thread because there is an area here you, like me, want handled.

I'm enjoying great satisfaction in having almost all areas of my life sorted out. Work, freetime, studies and women. My game is getting good. I think nothing like I did before I started out on this journey. I'm surrounded by beautiful women and I say things to them that (for a while) a part deep within me was astounded I was actually saying. What's even more astounding was the reactions.

I'm getting all of the areas of my game handled. Except one. There's one niggling thing I've been neglecting. I'm willing to bet that there are a large number of you neglecting it too.

We all know we should head to the gym and work out. I don't know if you want it to look good or feel good, probibly, like me, both. Spending time on yourself is rewarding for your energy levels, well being, and lets face it getting some muscles makes you way more attractive. It can have an effect like a policeman's gun. It gives you authority on a subconcious level - it looks dominant. It will help you to be the alpha male in the face of competition.

SO I'm going to make a comitment NOW to go to the gym. I'm looking for other DJs willing to do the same. I'm going to have to start small but I have big plans.

I'm looking for other people to make a commitment on this thread and then stick by it. If other DJs/PUAs are interested we can document our trials and because we need to report help each other to follow through with our convictions.

Anyone with me in wanting to handle this part of their lives now?

Yeap I'm with you... I just started my bulking diet on Monday. Eating 6 meals a day is not that hard, it's having to prepare it that makes it a *****.

Ive been going to the gym 4 times a week for 3 months now, never missing a session. Once you get in the habit, its like a drug, you wont be able to stop. The sound of iron colliding is music to my ears now. My problem is i cant eat healthy, but hey, take it one step at a time right. Only thing is, dont expect major gains right away, im just now starting to see tiny results.

Im glad you guys are jumping on this. Ask many questions, i know there are guys out here who can help with experience.

Here are my 2 dollars worth of advice:

Quick meals are not a problem.

Canned tuna + 4 slices of bread ( 2 sandwiches) makes a meal. I eat tuna on top of bread, may be add some mayo time to time.

Frozen chicken. - Microwave your chicken for 2 minutes while George forman is heating up. This will make chicken tastier and quicker to cook.

Protein shakes. - I mix them with water. Sams club has a great deal. 5lbs for $20. I like chocolate kind.

If you got Kwin Trip near you, you must try the "Multivitamin Bread" from there. It is something like 2 loaves for $1.75 and has 31g of carbs per slice. 2 slices and you got an intake of carbs for a meal.

Good luck.

understand you are putting every workout you do in veign if you don't eat right...any bodybuilder will tell you that the hardest part of the bodybuilding is eating right...4 or 5 small meals a day to keep that metab truckin i garuntee you would have been far off if you have been eating right these past 3 months my good friend

Well I had my first session yesterday. Went way too close to closing time and had to seriously step up the warmup regeme doing a fast run for a while, then had about 20 mins weights.

Got slight DOMs today about which I am very pleased.

My protein is in the post but won't be here until monday.

Dieting will be THE hard bit for me I'm sure. I'm quite fussy with my food. I'm going to be on three protein shakes, and avoid a huge amount of sugar. Eat some fruit and fibre and hope that's about right.

My daily routine is probibly going to make 5 or 6 small meals difficult but I'll try my best.

I'm heading to the gym in a few hours (eating first, then break while my MP3 player charges). For session 2.

I'm going to hit different muscle groups today and should be able to go a wee bit slower. I'm still trying to get an idea of where I am so that I've got a starting point.

Well that's my second time and I did a longer job of it today. Went for Delts and the muscles in that area (give me a broader-looking shoulder) pecs, biceps and triceps.

As well as a 15 minute cardio session to start off with.

Dilemma now is I'm STARVING (I had my piece of friut before heading into the gym). What's best for immediately after a workout? anyone know?

Oh and badmandaz - Not quite what my mate the PT tells me but he says what everyone else says: you have to adjust your diet.

That's a huge challange for me too. I'm the fussiest eater on plannet earth. I ain't going near salad. So it looks like a healthy diet of protein shakes and cut down my other meals a lil in terms of unhealthiness and volume.

He says done right you'll be seeing results pretty fast too.
