Made a date last night, she cancled today.

Just graduated High School and met this girl on myspace that's going to the same college as me, got her number, called her. Thursday we had a great conversation, hit it off real well, and I asked if she wanted to get something to eat Saturday and she agreed. Today, Friday, she just called and said she couldn't make it, I asked why and she said she doesn't want to date anyone right now, and we could go out with a group of people. I handled this the best I could and said I didn't really want to date anyone right now, just wanted to meet new people and I said we should hangout anyway. I said I'd try to get some people togethar and get back with here tomorrow. Should I call her and say, "I didn't have time to find anyone, but we should hangout anyway." If you could give me some suggestions.

that wouldn't work anyway since you'll be going down the friend route any way you look at it.

why not just wait a few months until college starts and try her again then? maybe she'll have a different mindset.
