Hey guys...

What do you all do when you just wake up on the wrong side of the bed and you just feel like $h!t?

Doesn't happen too often with me but when it does I can't find a place for myself. I feel like I want to tear myself right out of my skin. I'm mad and angry at EVERYTHING. Itell myself that it's temporary and this too shall pass. And it will. But it does nothing. I just muddle through my misery

I'll most likely feel alright tomorrow. But it's just the day. Total waste. Feel useless, cantankerous and no good to anyone. I'm 45 and any day like this is another day I'll never get back. I can't afford to waste my time.

think it could be your diet? the particular alcohol you picked last night? (tequila and red wine leave me feeling irritable the next day)

Welcome to being human, where moods sometimes come in and out of your experience for no obvious reason.

Those days I let my emotions be emotions and function on an intellectual level until the sh!t subsides. The last thing I do is focus on it, that just feeds it.

With some mental training in concentration and attention management, this type of problem lose impact on you. It just occurs but since your mind is absorbed in other things it just fizzles out and is forgotten.

That feeling is like a really annoying attention whoring b!tch, if you don't give it attention it will inevitably run out of energy and go away.

Well in a week i will be 44. I hear you. Sometimes you just get the feeling that "everything is in the way," or "people are idiots and getting stupider by the day,"

Sometimes you just need to get into your own corner and clear your head. I found what works for me is writing and music. I have written a couple of novels and i write songs. Mostly for myself, keeps your brain active and the creativity keeps a natural mood boost in your brain.

Its what i do. Just a suggestion.
