What are you Wolf? So Suave's resident tattle tale? Why are you always trying to get people banned for stupid reasons? If you don't like what he has to say, ignore him. Oh and btw...I didn't receive so much as a PM from a mod after your little (undeserving) complaint about me. I hate to say I told you so but...

What complaint!

Calm down, I know how to ignore ignorant people. No complaints needed. I know you're not a virgin, you're just dum, or have to prove you're dangerous, or whatever.

In case of luke he is a virgin and not on a road to recovering. I actually care about that. A type of brotherly love. Do you have any idea how many PMs I received thanking me for posting this and that. Too bad I didn't get my way here, it might have served its purpose well.

The fact that anybody is even concerned about somebody else's lack of success is enough reason for him (OP) to take time off from this place and get a life.

Btw, the correct phrase is "I couldn't care less", meaning, "I absolutely don't care about it that it is not possible to care any less."

"I could care less" means, "I care somewhat, and I really need to care less because I already care more than I want to." That is your english lesson for the day.

Really, who cares? The best way to deal with him and any other troll, is to stop feeding him with your posts and attention.

I agree with this guy. the only reason someone can get you furstrated by not listening to good advice, or writing bvllsh!t threads on a forum, is if you let it frustrate you.

In the end we are on here to either learn more for ourselves, or in my case aswel giving advise to people who genuinely want it- knowing you made a difference.

There are always going to be ppl on foums (espcially this one) who feel they know better than others, but with ppl like this i reckon just leave them to be.

Indeed. Ironically, using the term 'begs the question' as an alternative to 'raises the question' is in itself a (hugely common) 'mistake.'

btw, thanks again for that. I very rarely learn any English from sosuave, but I just did, so thank you.

That reminds me of another commonly misused expression that I only recently learned to use correctly, "toe the line." It is a reference to starting a race, putting one's foot on the line to get ready to start. I think a synonymous cliche would be 'step up to the plate.' It does not mean 'tow the line,' as most people use it, referring to doing dirty work or accomplishing a task.

Both of you, Gangster Of Love and MMA Juan, have a wild imagination. I don't read Luke Skywalker enough to be frustrated with the guy. The only post I read by him started by asking forums how much sex they having, and I stopped reading at the first sentence, where he said, "I'm a virgin."

You guys are offended by something here. I hope you're not virgins, nothing wrong if you are, but I hope you are not. Let's just leave it at that.

No, they are right, you need to get a life - you are even below my level if you have to resort to writing threads like this one here.

As you said here, you made this whole hoop-la-la because of one isolated thread I wrote, which wasn't flaming or offensive to anyone and if anything was entertaining, and have to publically humiliate me by making a thread like this.

I'm sure that anyone on this board, including yourself, would not like it if someone made a poll about you on whether you should stay or be banned from this board because you have no luck with girls - which is why people are on here in the first place.

You've come a long way buddy. How come you stuck at one place now. What happened?
Again, nothing but malicious intent. You even have the audicity to claim you are making this thread for me to help me grow, you are just an attention wh0re.

Who else do you want to ban for their hard luck situation - where's the next thread?

Whose hard luck? Yours? That's what is so frustrating about you, Luke, is that you blame your lack of success on anything but yourself. In any endeavor in life, making excuses is the sign of a loser. And you'll stay a loser, until you start taking responsibility for all of your failures. You are responsible for all of them, and no one else. Not society, your parents, the female gender, religion, lack of religion, bad luck, nothing other than you.

The bad news about this is that it makes your excuses pointless and it is not easy to own up to failure. The good news is that once you realize that only you are in control of your life, then you start making yourself work harder to make your life better. There's no shame at being bad at something, all of us here are much worse than you at something, I'm sure. But blaming anyone but yourself keeps you from ever getting better. You are in complete control of your life, and can be as much of a dj as you want, provided that you want success more than you want to make excuses. It's up to you.

And everyone here is your friend, whether it always seems that way or not. We all want you to succeed; some of us are just more 'tough love' than others.

Happy Thanksgiving.

It's said that only shallow men believe in luck and that strong men believe in cause and effect.

Well there is a such thing as luck and random events. Luck is just a certain number of standard deviations away from the norm, and is a cause and effect and seems to be part of nature. Although, I think Luke has been unlucky in circumstances to an existent, it's not all about luck and he definitely could do much better for himself.

Hmm... I know that a lot of luck is a product of doing many little things right. Luck supports those that play the percentages, and don't give up..

But...

There are some people who are truly unlucky. Trust me I know, firsthand. I don't let it bother me and it seems to only be in some aspects of my life, so I tend to stay away from those aspects.

Last time I played a game of dice, where the highest score wins, here's what happened: (i rolled 3 die, he rolled 2. If there's a tie, he wins because he only rolls 2)

I bet $20 on this set.

He rolled first, and they came out as a 1 + 2 = 3.

I rolled second, with a big ****ing smile on my face, because all I had to do was roll a two or higher. I rolled a 1 + 1 + 1 = 3.

Calculate the odds of that :)

By the way, **** like that happens ALL the time when pure chance is involved. I know that people who focus on the negative usually ignore the positive, but ive played that game roughly 25 to 30 times, I won 4 rolls total.

I'm making it a habit of walking the other way in things where chance is involved, it doesn't seem to help me, so I ignore it and move on with my life.

--

edit: on the other side of the coin, my buddy who also plays that game sometimes, rolls 5s and 6s CONSISTENTLY. Our whole circle, nine of us, all won't play against him b/c dice just seem to roll his way. I don't quite understand it, but it's fvcking uncanny.
