Tenacity, I'm with you. I don't want a girl anywhere near my finances either, that's why I won't get married. It also helps me that I don't want children (certainly not at my age), because then the state would make me pay her money. What I'm doing is pretty much the only thing I can be doing while protecting my assets.

The writing is on the wall for me, I guess it's just not meant for me to have these fulfilling relationships that you guys speak of.

You probably don't want to hear this, but you have to have patience, you're only 31. I probably would have said the same thing at your age. I think I was 33 before I met a girl I deemed worth marrying.

On top of that.. it has diminishing returns as your woman loses value over time (aging). So you are paying MORE for LESS the longer you commit. Similar to getting more responsibilities at your job each year with a decrease in pay over time.
