Hey what's up guys--I wanna hear some of your thoughts. I'm a senior in high school in a rather "safe", conservative community where not that many kids have lost their virginity. I am a virgin.

A few years ago, a guy a few years older than me (who fwcked a lot of girls) told me I should "wait for the right chick" to lose my virginity with because it was going to be an experience I would remember.

What do you guys think about that? I'm not interested in when, but rather to who you guys lost your virginity to. Was it a ONS? Was it a hookup at a party? Was it in an LTR? Was it to a prostitute?

I lost mine on my birthday to a woman I stayed with for 3 1/2 years. I regret nothing. We were together for about 3 months before we had sex. Typically, I find women won't sick around past 1 1/2 months if there's no sex in the equation.

So it's really not that big of a deal then? I mean, the part about it being "something that you'll remember"...I was thinking about that, and I couldn't decide--is it better for it to happen in an LTR? Would it make the memory painful after the LTR is over? Or does it make you feel idk, a little degraded if you lost it to some random slut?

My good friend lost it 3 years ago in an LTR (like 1 year i think). He had sex with her REPEATEDLY from what I heard, but she cheated on him. I wonder if that haunts him at all, losing his virginity to a c*nt that cheated on him. I could just ask him, but I don't want to be bringing back bad memories for him.

Not at all. As I said, I don't regret anything about it. Good woman, good looking, but I didn't realize how much she sucked in bed until after we broke up and I got laid by other women.

England, baby!
no option for "lost it to a GF who was a stupid biatch" ? ?
i wanted to get it over-with, so told her id been wiht a few (she'd been wiht a few guys before), i maybe do which it could have been a bit more specail, BUT getting it out your system is much more important than it being 'special' ...

you need to balance getting laid (to a virgin is one of the most important goals in life at that moment!) and "waiting"...

if you wait you may neverfind some one Special, and where is the line for "special" and "not special"???

sex is often an anti-climax the first time, as you are inexperienced so not good at it yet, often the girl is bad too, its awkward etc...

id say if you get an opportunity then FVuck, if you are in a RL then you have to option to make it a bit more special, but dont worry too much either way...

I've never had meaningless sex. I meant to ƒuck every girl I did.

I had sex - I didn't lose any virginity, that's chick-speak - at 17. By that time I'd seen enough porn and had suffered enough hormones to know exactly what to do and how to do it. The girl I was with ended up becoming my first case of ONEitis. She was a year younger than me and had been having sex since 14, so she knew enough to be fun. I thouroughly enjoyed my first time, even though she turned my life upside down later on. So, yeah LTR and hindisght being 20-20 I wish it would've been a random hook up instead.

The first time I had sex wasn't a random hookup nor was it a LTR. I do regret that, that was my first time. Unfortunately that's life, things can't be changed.

A better place, a better time.
Basically a random hook-up here with a chick I had met on only one prior occasion - we were not dating. You CAN wait for the "right" girl and have it still be a random hook-up. I had the chance to sleep with two other random girls before I met the one I actually slept with, and, for me, sleeping with either of the other two would have been a mistake. One of them occurred only one week before I actually lost it, but I am damn sure it would have been a ****ing miserable experience with her. She was sexy as hell, but annoying as ****.

You will know when the timing is right man, trust your gut on this one. The chick I had my first time with was perfect for me, and even though we weren't dating and didn't mean anything special to each other, it was a great experience and I don't regret a thing about it. After we f*cked three times I told her she was my first. She didn't believe me at first but eventually decided we had to keep doing it so she could teach me a thing or two hahaha. Worked out really well for me.

Bottom line, if you are worried, just make sure you find someone you are mad comfortable with and you will do just fine.

Oh and just to add, this girl ended up lying to me and f*cking me over hardcore about something unrelated. She is a really terrible person that I basically feel only anger and pity towards now. That said, she was still a great chick for an inexperienced dude like myself to sleep with for a while cause she was mad laid back and a lot of fun to hang out with. It hasn't tainted the experience for me at all.

I see, so really no absolutes...I guess the time will come when it's right. And it's no biggie as long as the girl's not some huge slut, an ugly, or a huge b1tch. And even then, nothing major. You guys voted overwhelmingly in the "no regrets" options.

Silly poll. I don't think I know any male who regretted losing their virginity.

Waiting for the "right chick" is probably one of the silliest things to consider, because that will more or less become irrelevant. I had been going out with this girl for some time, and we were "in love" so to speak, and it was cute (this was right after high school for me, she was still in high school) and romantic. Or as romantic as you can get in the backseat of an '84 Oldsmobile. Anyway, I don't even think about that sh*t any more. I don't even talk to that girl any more. So her having been "special" means nothing.
