Folks unfortunately, this is the new market today in a nutshell. Social Media accounts like Facebook honestly aren't that DIFFERENT than OLD. The women are getting massive amounts of Inbox messages on Facebook just like they are on OLD.

I too have experienced the same thing, where you will see beautiful women on OLD (some of which I met or dated or fvcked personally) literally STAY on there for centuries. It's folks on this website that want to blame us men for why these women are still on there.......when the fact remains that the chick on there for 2 - 5 years has dated, messaged, etc., HUNDREDS of men and you are telling me that not 1 man in that pile is worthy to commit to?

They aren't looking to commit, they are looking to have a good time, serial date, etc. It's why I said the short term dating market is BOOMING but the LTR market is in a Great Recession/Depression. Expanding your "paradigm", or "thinking very positive", or "repeating positive affirmations", or "reading the DJ Bible" will NOT STOP these new market forces.
To just believe means squat when these same women have full inboxes daily. Not only that but stay on hookup sites like it's their life. These women aren't looking for relationships let alone are "innocent" at all. They're d1ck sampling till they meet some high value chump as their fantasy "one" who "doesn't care about their past" ...and eventually ends up in it.

Then you just need to take the knowledge you know about the current market and use it to your advantage. Don't search for an LTR, just have fun, live your life, and keep smashing.
And that's exactly what you have to do (if you're smart). You also have to find a way to cope with not getting a quality LTR. I'm honestly still struggling with that one.

And if you are looking for a LTR?
There seems to be a paradox at play.

There is the desire of a LTR, and yet the 'market' contradicts that. The real contradicts the ideal.

But contradictions reside in the mind: we first have an image of reality, and then see that it does not match with ideality.

Leading to the either/ or resolution: collapse the ideal into the real, or subsume the real into the ideal.

But the real is not real... it's an arbitrary, contingent construction of contemporary culture.

The ideal is rather the real. So one rejects the idea of the 'real', and sticks with the ideal.

One then only needs to find one with the ideal.

I don't think it's a good thing.. having broken up with my ex some 4-5 weeks ago and looking at POF it can't be good if you can still remember the same girls you saw 2 1/2 years ago on the site.. Maybe it's just me be reading the stuff they wrote now is a major turn off to me.. granted some of these girls are on multiple dating sites..

I work for a popular "brown" shipping company and I'm starting to regret not giving this girl my number last week.. as soon as I walked in the door I got a huge IOI vibe off her lots of giggles (her friend was next to her) I asked what her last name was so I could type it out I was shocked she was able to stay in her seat the whole time.

I'm thinking about skipping the whole OLD dating crap not like I really spend much effort in it.. it's just that after so many years you would think you would see "different faces" on the sites.
Female OLD is 95% time wasters looking for princess and what not. They being 2/10 looking for 9/10, dating 2-4 people in the same day on regullar and what not (not that the last thing i mentioned is bad, we do that too).
Now you have two choices:
1. waste time looking for that serious 5% that hasnt skewed mind.
2. become 9/10 or 10/10 princess that will attract them.

1. has very bad RoI (not worth wasting time), but sometimes I can get a date out of it, that is still interested after date (becomes plate if things go good).
2. is very good Life Tip in general, but its hard

and yes, I also see faces on OLD that I saw 1-2 years ago there as well. they usually just match if you and dont want to meet, or they meet, but you and/or your look is nowhere near her standards (regardless of the fact you got matched basing the decision on your photos) thats not nice but hey.

Well, I used OLD a ton and I have done very well.

POF was terrible but match has been great.

Match I find I had better success with higher value girls looking for a solid partner than ugly hos claiming they want a solid partner.

I am definately NOT in that prince charming mould and not a buff gym rat. I've always set up as I am, steady guy.

I think the ugly chicks are completely spun by all the gym rats loving them. "I never got guys like this and now I have these guys all over me"

However, nice pretty girl has never had a shortage of gym rats looking to bang. She looks at men and sees what they project, and gym rats are projecting for short term bouncy-bouncy.

I have done much better with these girls. Looks are not everything with women, especially those with looks themselves. Once 10 hot guys hit on them, they have the validation. They then start thinking about the practicalities, and if their heart is in the right place, they know what types of guys will hurt them and which ones will be good for LTRs.

There are clearly gold-diggers on there. These I had no success with. You have seen them. Every picture is in a dress at some black tie party. Profile pic drinking champagne. Urgh. "Please Mr Doctor/lawyer, I can come to your parties with you"

One of my best former plates had a terrible profile and pictures yet she was quite attractive and brilliant fun, albeit for a short while.

In summary, if you want a load of substandard hos to hit, go put topless pics and real "manly" pics. Put a massive bio of how successful you are and how many cars/businesses you own.

I found being sparing and writing your profile a bit like it's just a toe in the water rather than some big pitch worked wonders.

Tinder so far is very meh... I think between all the left and right swiping I must of seen 400 profiles and no matches that included a 30 min boost yesterday.

I wish I could get my $29 back

Tinder isn't that bad if you know what you're doing. Some good pics, be at least a 7/10 and good shape. You should be able to get some matches and dates then.

I was reading this thread, and then contemplating how horrific the dating scene is (at least in the Anglosphere), and I couldn't help but draw a parallel to the famous Mouse Utopia experiment: as concerning their dating lives, a critical mass of men have emotionally, at least, gone into the decline phase; this is the meme of Men On Strike, MGTOW or "not manning up". Oh sure, there are some younger men who are still giving it a go - with the only place for any chance at success being OLD or "day approach game", etc. - but after a while they just get burnt out in being aggressive in any way (this includes spending time on OLD). YouTube philosopher Aaron Clarey, described, to a "seasoned" woman wondering where the men were, that at some stage of life, men just give up (i.e., giving up the dating game, not giving up sex, but just not expending much energy for it). It just seems that a generation or so ago, it wasn't this hard, but it is now, hence the decline.

Yes but If you're good looking and in shape you won't need OLD
