The Mature Man forum exists because it assumes that at a certain age your life assumes different perspectives and different challenges. You're most likely done with school and you've paid your dues at work and you've have almost two decades more to settle into your own skin than those in the high school forum. You've achieved some measure of success and are looking to move on from there. LTRs discussions are incidental to the MM forum because after a certain point in time most men decide to 'settle down' and need to retool their game.

On that note, I want to quash the mini-argument about how different LTRs are from STRs and ONSs. I tried to write a post a few months ago on strategic thinking in the dating game that never panned out, but the gist of it was that you can't go bass fishing with a tuna lure and expect success. If you're objective becomes different, so must be your tactical approach. Aside from that I think what Oxide and Francisco are trying to illustrate (and please let me know if I'm misinterpretting this) is that all success requires you to have your life and consequently the three Cs together. Who would disagree?

I think that an LTR forum might be a natural outgrowth of the DJ principles. Some guys naturally gravitate towards LTRs whereas others gravitate towards STRs and ONSs, but almost every man will seek an LTR at least once in their lifetime.
