Hi.. it's just this thing about being a man.. i just got a question about it.
All of you keep saying that one shouldn't be obsessed by a woman or feel that he needs a woman. But hey.. what if someone points a gun to the THE WOMAN YOU LOVE? would u take a bullet? or would you live the rest of your life "aiming for your goals and dreams bla bla bla" and that bullshyt?
If someone insulted your girlfriend.. wouldn't you stand up for your girl even if it means you could die for it?

im just curious.. what would u "real men" do?

yeah that's MY answer.. but read my thread again.. i wanna know what others think about this. since everyone is talking about that a woman should only be there for you to share your already complete life with, and not having her to complete you.

Well it depends.

You basically asked:

Would you stand up for the one that you love?


I *might* do it if I felt that the person being defended would do so for me, if they were in a similar situation (and if I was 200% sure about my feelings on the matter).

And that's if I don't chicken out at the last minute. I know that sounds wimpish but think about it. If you REALLY were in such a situation, how likely would it be that you wouldn't also wimp out? Personally, there'd be a definately possibility that I'd wimp out. I also think that most people here (and most people in general for that matter) would probably wimp out too. Think about it, you might DIE because of that. That's especially significant to me because I'm not a believer in an after-life.

While I strongly believe in community spirit, people all have some selfish tendencies (some more than others). Plus I'm an only child, which I suppose automatically makes me more selfish. And keep in mind, taking significant pain or even DYING is a pretty fvcking tall order for anybody.

i will not throw down with someone unless I am prepared to hurt them totally.

Self defense is no game.

I have been training martial arts for many years - and i'm not talking sport fighting. I'm not about to get into a situation over a parking spot at the mall - or because someone calls a chick I'm with a"B#tch".
