Master Don Juan
So I don't know about you guys, but I come under a lot of heat from friends and family about lifting. It's practically hell where I train. I get questioned and critized on my goals allllll the time...I get tons of questions like this:
"Why do you want to do this? I don't understand!"
"What's the point of getting strong?"
"Why are you eating so many eggs in a day?!"
"Why are you drinking olive oil?"
"What's with these haha protein shakes?"
I get accused of having massive self esteem problems when I carry a very fun relationship with a very pretty girl. Which to me should show that I have good self esteem.
When I give nutritional advice when asked, I get resentful comments and I am told I don't know what I'm talking about. I don't understand why people have to combat me when they ask me for advice. :cuss:
If there is one thing I've learned, it's too keep my mouth shut about lifting/eating around family and friends. But whenever I'm around thats all they want to talk about! I can't tell if it's jealousy or they think I'm self-absorbed.
Anyone else have these problems? Or am I alone in this lifting universe where everyone thinks I'm crazy? I sure hope not
